Came across this absolute horseshit yesterday. Shameful.

    These folks agree.

I think so too, but remember: so has every single generation.

Absolutely, the reason those artists stick out is because they were memorable. I think in 40 years we’ll remember the innovative artists from this era and not the generic ones.

We also live in a time where the mainstream is more in our face than ever, but also the underground is more accessible than ever. My daughter is able to listen to so much barely known music now, but when I was her age I could only hear what was on the radio/on TV, with no access to the music I would eventually find and love.

    Keeping the hits coming

    I ain't made in China
    From all the cheapest parts
    I ain't one for driving
    Them imported foreign cars
    I'm more like American muscle
    From 1966
Yeah, I ain't made in China
    I'm American as it gets

I ain't made by Uyghur kids
    For pennies on the dollar
    I'm made in the USA
It says so on my collar
    Tried and true
    Red, white and blue
My roots run way too thick
Yeah, I ain't made in China
'Cause I'm American as it gets

    And I'm hat over heart
    Doing my part
    To love the flag
    That drapes over the caskets
Of the ones who don't come back

    I'm a gun-totin', locked and loaded
    God-fearing son of a bitch
Lord knows I ain't made in China
    I'm American as it gets

    Red-blooded as they come
    I'll die for being free
I'm proud of where I'm from

    Foreign-made or city-raised
I'm proud to say I'm neither
And I ain't selling 'em any of mine
And I ain't buying theirs either
If you got something to say about that
    I couldn't give two shits
'Cause I ain't made in China
    I'm American as it gets

    And I'm hat over heart
    Doing my part
    To love the flag
    That drapes over the caskets
Of the ones who don't come back

    I'm a gun-totin', locked and loaded
    God-fearing son of a bitch
Lord knows I ain't made in China
    I'm American as it gets

Lord knows I ain't made in China
'Cause I'm American as it gets

Did Trey Parker and Matt Stone help him write the lyrics?

I don't think Aaron Lewis reads much, but he might want to skim this:

Myth Busting: Made in America – Foreign Vehicles Made in the USA

...some of the most popular vehicles from foreign automakers are built by American workers. In contrast, some “American” vehicles are produced outside of the United States.

Is there a way to have a Randy Marsh AI voice sing that Aaron Lewis song?

This fuckin idiot forgot the lyrics to the National Anthem after calling out people who have messed up singing it in the past. He can fuck all the way off with this song.

Wharf Rat is a better song than all of the DMB catalogue combined... which actually sounds like a terrible thing, a combination of all the Dave Matthews songs... but Wharf Rat is awesome

I like the drums and space stuff from the dead

The Tortured Poets Department? Not commenting on the quality of the album, but I think it's funny to think of Taylor Swift as some kind of tortured poet, unless the title is tongue-in-cheek?

What the FUCK is going on here
Rob Sheffield has given the new Taylor Swift 5/5 stars in the new Rolling Stone. I haven't heard the album and I'm not a "hater," but give me a fucking break.

    100% this.

I remember thinking Folklore was fine at the time, but I went back two years ago and the only songs I like feel like more dream pop stuff than anything else.
