I did not see a thread on this band on the list. I love the rawness and energy of their music and after seeing a few videos of them live, I am beyond intrigued. Howlin Pelle Almqvist puts on the exaggerated bantering onstage persona of a total asshole, which I think is brilliant and entertaining. They are arguably one of the best live bands in current history, according to critics.

That entire performance in NYC was recorded and the clips are worth a watch if you like garage rock/punk-ish music. I am definitely catching these guys live if they ever come around these parts.

They released their 5th studio album "Lex Hives" in 2012 and the show clip I linked above was this past Spring. So I would say yes, they are still around.

I saw them at Coachella in 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed them.

Thought the first new single was great. Haven't heard anything past that, but definitely looking forward to checking the album. Always love what they do.
