This just building the theory that it's called Dawn Chorus.

I love their non-traditional releases. This is great to me. So much more exciting than a generic "yeah here's the release date here's a single blah" style of doing it yet accomodates hype as opposed to a surprise drop.

The little video sounds like it may be the actual song burn the witch, at one point I believe the band hinted burn the witch would have an ochestra

also stanley donwood said this album is going be " work of art" is this what he was talking about ?

No, I feel you...it's just that everyone was all 'I'm just confused! What's going on?! Did they really just remove all social media accounts?'

No. It's 2016. They need social media accounts to survive. They did it so articles would be written and people would start talking more about the band before they announced a new album.

If I am remembering correctly, wasn't TKOL released unexpectedly a day after the video for Lotus Flower was put up unexpectedly?....

Alright everyone, I gotta ask something: does anyone have a spare ticket to ANY of their shows this year? It just dawned on me that I may not have the opportunity to see Radiohead live again (I live in Brazil, bands don't always come down here), and I'd be willing to find some cheap flights to get to wherever I have to be for a gig, especially if it's in the US. I know everything is sold out, but I thought that asking here would be better than getting ripped off on stubhub.

    So, anyone?

Hmm, cheapest ticket for Lolla is 175 on Stubhub in Chicago. I bet they will have new dates next year too.

That was so fucking good, mmph. I can't believe we finally got this song (I mean it's been what, ten years they've been teasing it?). Love the violins, love the eerie building of it, adore that freaky little claymation video. I'm so prepared for whatever we get next and I'm really interested in hearing this in context of an album.

Video was interesting. Song was alright. Interested to hear how it fits in to the whole album as well.

I really like the new song. I Love that video. Something very 1970s about it. I didnt like the King of Limbs. They lost me.
But im more excited for the album now than i was.

I'm kind of hoping we get more of these videos since the ending implies that there could be more. A claymation concept album from Radiohead is something I'm surprisingly really interested in and I never would've guessed it.

Didn't they flat-out confirm that there'd be no other tour dates in 2016? Who knows at this point though. I'm expecting it to just be those dates with a more extensive tour next year after they feel like they've figured it out, like the In Rainbows cycle.

My fear is that there won't be dates next year. Their last tour ended rather abruptly, I'm not sure how into touring they are anymore.

It definitely feels like between this and Spectre, we'll be getting a very orchestral-heavy album -- which I could not be more all-for. It reminds me a lot of Jonny's scoring material and I'm in love with his film work. I'm really hoping that the whole album is filled with that sound, rather than BTW being an outlier.

They did this with the king of Limbs-Not many tour dates. I really hope they do the two drummer thing again, I really enjoyed that.

I dont understand the video thing though. I'm just happy there is new great music.

I'm in love with those plucked strings, and the video is great. (If you don't get the video, check out a film called The Wicker Man. Just make sure you watch the British original, not the Nicholas Cage "NOT THE BEES!" remake.)

    More please!

I really love this (rejected) song! It's great that they don't abandon them, like Nude, How to disappear completely, I will, Mr Magpie (ok maybe not the last one).
