    From their wiki:

On June 6, 2017, the band announced an official name change back to the original "Death from Above".[18] Although the band has said their social media handles will keep the "1979" suffix, all future music and shows from the duo will reportedly arrive under the new name.[7][8] Grainger said in an interview that the band decided to not include the "1979" suffix on a tour promo for their tour with the Eagles of Death Metal in early 2016, "just to see what would happen" and the band received no legal issues because of it which led to them doing it again on their tour promo with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and once again there were no legal repercussions.[19]

It leaked. Haven't gotten a chance to get it myself yet, but it's out there.

Wasn't impressed with the single or the first half, but damn, that second half is groovy. I expect the rest will grow on me a lot over the next week.

This is incredibly underwhelming so far.

Edit: This is what all that hype was for? The entire album sounds phoned in and highly repetitive. Where did their balls go?? Glass Homes is the only track here worth a damn, and I really wish they would have went with that sound over the empty, uninspired sound they went for here.

Bummer. I haven't listened yet, but I'm glad I didn't get my hopes up to high. (Still gonna make up my own mind when I do check it out)

Sometimes, my first reactions change a lot after a few listens, but there is nothing here I want to revisit. NYC Pt.1 and 2 sounds like unfinished tracks; it is just highly forgettable.

So a lot of the album to me is slamming, but the back half of the album just drops tempo and is a bit uhhhh skippable.
Loved the front end though. Hopefully I can go see them again soon.

Hmm... not sure how I feel about this one after my first listen. As an album, it didn't grab me right away like their other ones did. That said, I dig "One + One," "Free Animal," and "Glass Homes." The jury's still out on the rest.

It’s a fun, short little banger of an album. It’s definitely not as good as Outrage. But I don’t think I’d have wanted Outrage 2.0. I feel Sebs ‘lost in the mix’ fuzz vocals happened too often on this album, though.

    overall I dig it though.

There's some really interesting mixing on this album. It doesn't immediately jump out as one of my favorites, but I think it might be a grower for me.

Listened to about 3/4 of it.
Pretty into it so far. I like the drum sounds. Reminds me of Justice.
It's cool to hear those fuzz vocals again.
Good hooks on here so far.

Glass Homes-Love Letter-Mean Streets is an awesome run. I also really dig NYC Power Elite.

Love it, but it does fall flat on its face tracks 8-10.

    *EDIT*

Just got my indie exclusive 12"!

Looks like DFA have re-recorded their debut LP. One track drops per month on bandcamp Friday. 2 so far. And a 20th anniversary tour
