    So NIN have always kinda been the exception to my musical taste, and am currently on a metalcore kick.

    it's just Architects, and they're the best band in "popular" metal these days, next to the mighty Gojira.

    Why must it be British? Haha.

    We had a metal thread too. It leans more towards thrash/extreme, black and death but there's metal core I think. I only really truly loved Bleeding Through as far as metalcore goes.
