Is there even a fairly active Manson forum anymore? This thread is probably the most Manson discussion I really see on the net these days.
    Babalon was a joke anyways.

Provider Module is the Best Manson forum around. Me and a few members here are on there:

I was HumanVault on Babalon but didn't post much, got banned and reregistered but rarely posted. I mostly just want to know when new songs are about to drop and what other fans are saying.

I registered at PM at one time, as well, I might still have an account there.
edit: Awesome, I do. Alright, I'll just check there from now on. Thanks!

Provider Module is a great site, almost reaching the level the Phant was at back in the day. Man I miss that place.

Marilyn Manson and Johnny Depp have teamed up to cover Carly Simon's 1972 hit "You're So Vain," HuffPost Entertainment exclusively reports.

No offense to Marilyn or Johnny, but I think the collaboration probably would have been awesome if they did it during the 90's. Now, I don't really think so.

Well it'll be neat or amusing in any respect. I can't wait to hear it.

Depp's work in P. is pretty nifty. Props if you know what I'm talking about.

“It sounds like the exact record I’ve wanted all of my heroes to make at this point in their career and sometimes they don’t. I might have [previously] had that off-period, in my opinion, but this is the one that punches you right in the stomach.”

Though again, like danebraddy said, no artist is going to come out with a new album and say "meh, we tried". They're going to promote the shit out of it.

Still can't get into the new tune: seems so boring and generic to me.

Maybe it will grow on you? It sounded boring and generic to me on first listen, although I have liked the high guitar at the end from the start. Each time I listen to it I enjoy it more, I like having it on in the background.

I also like the message of it of. I view it as a conscious person observing the typical war between the two voices inside, the left and right brain fighting for power, the struggle of good and evil to be more in control, placing yourself outside of your ego, not knowing which person you really are anymore and your new self which is foreign to you, a fresh spirit, stripped bare with 'no reflection'.

Yeahhhh. Was wondering the same thing. Seems like a silly cover choice, seeing as how TR already 'covered' it in the best way....about Manson.

Been listening to No Reflection a bit more today. It's sinking in, in a good way. Is it just me though, or does it share some small similarities to Peaches "Fuck The Pain Away"? Feels at times like the male goth rock anthem version of that song, with the drum beat and the synths.

    You ain't lyin'...

In all honesty though, that first mediocre track and just the imagery...it's all too, for a lack of a better term, slick. Polished. Am I surprised that the album cover is yet another picture of him? Of course not, with his ego and the revolving musicians that back him...it's just too clean for my tastes. MA for example was overly clean, but that was the point. There was still something off-putting about it. This just looks like a normal radio rock album to me.

That cover might be worse than the single art. Doesn't even look like him
