So no more Red Wings. Habs against Bolts. Given the 5-0 record during the season, the Bolts are the favorites to win this series. Good that the pressure has shifted for Montreal.
Some forwards need to step up their games and Price will have to be in a Conn Smythe shape.

Good first round. Read that 0 people had the correct bracket on NHL.com and out of 800,000 participants, only 17 people guessed all 8 teams to win their series. I got 5 lol.

Second round should be fun. Taking the Wild over the Hawks. Their first round dismantling of St. Louis was enough to convince me they are the team to beat in the West. They've got everything working for them right now. Taking the Ducks over the Flames. The Flames have been a great story, but I think this is where their magic runs out. They had a soft first round matchup against Vancouver, but I think the Ducks will be too much for them. Will be interesting to see if the Ducks have any rust.

Out East, taking the Lightning over the Habs. I picked the Bolts to make the finals, so I'm sticking to it. I think we see a 7 game series here. Bishop is shaky, but he looked good in game 6 and 7. I'm most excited to watch that series. Taking the Rangers over Caps. This is going to be another good series, I could see it going 7 games as well. I feel like it's much easier to choose the WC teams than the EC teams during this 2nd round. Should be fun.

Ducks are killing! I don't forsee more than 5 games, personally.

Couldn't agree more about the EC. That Caps/Rangers game was fun!

That was a boxing match? That was bullshit! Mayweather is a bitch. All he does is run around and shuffle while not taking any real hits and he's the champion? What a fucking joke. That wasn't a fight. That's sissy bullshit.

Today, no one can talk to me about hockey.
Not sure what's happening with the Habs aside from the fact that we can't score goals!
The two we netted came from D-men. Our forwards have completely lost the little ability they had to score goals.

    Ha .. Ha!
I do feel a bit better.

Couple things Therrien needs to do. First off, dress Gonchar. The guy has valuable playoffs experience and could be an asset on the PP.
No need to give him 20 minutes of ice time. PP and a few shifts here and there during the game. That's it.

Then, Therrien needs to put Pacioretty/Plekanec/Galchenyuk line together. As much as I love Weiss, he doesn't belong on the first line. Neither does Desharnais.

It's only 0-2.Nothing is impossible but Price cannot win a cup by himself. We need to score some freaking goals!

    Former Bruin. You're welcome.

If I haven't mention before, I recently got into speed watching EPL futbol. I have a top 10 list of the best player hair. Beyond that, I'm still learning. Southampton is my underdog team and I don't like Chelsea.

And I laugh hard at Men in Blazers.

Messi embarrassed Jérôme Boateng and Bayern today in Barcelona's 3-0 home victory over Bayern in the first leg of the Champions League Semi's. That second goal my goodness! Boateng's ankles were broken like when Stephen Curry broke Chris Paul's ankles.

That 2nd Messi goal was incredible. It's gonna take a lot for Bayern to pull off a comeback like the one they did in the previous round (which I don't see them doing even if the next game is at the Allianz Arena).

Messi is the greatest ever. There is no doubt about that. We are lucky to be able to watch him week in week out.

I dont think that Bayern have a chance to bounce back. They will throw everything forward and get a goal in a counter-attack. And that would be enought to crush them.

They live to see another day.
The fact that they won in that fashion and not 2-1 or 1-0 is certainly a confidence boost.

Hopefully, the Bell Centre ghosts will be out in full force tomorrow.
One game at a time but we all know which game is the hardest. Not #5 ... definitely #6.
But we have to get there first.

Game 5 is in the bank.
Doubt has been planted in Tampa Bay's mind. That's for sure.
Habs are trying to become the 5th team in NHL history to come back from 0-3.
I strongly believe that if we beat Tampa tomorrow, there's no way we're losing Game 7 in Montreal.

Series is turning out to be a lot more exciting than I thought.

The Old Lady held on to go through to the Champions League Final vs Barcelona. Big ups to them I didn't think they could pull it off but they did. Buffon and Pirlo have another chance at glory.

    Plus ...

"Despite growing up in Michigan, he was a Minnesota North Stars fan"

Your Honor, I rest my case.
