I'm super into Steely Dan these days. If it's on the SiriusXM Yacht Rock channel I just eat it up.
Chelsea Wolfe - Maw
can never get enough of these guys...
Been exploring this band's discography the last few days and am enjoying what I'm hearing. Very similar to Carcass.
Tool - 10,000 Days. One of my staple albums which I will always have on or near me.

Just bought the vinyl off Nuclear Blast too. Will be awesome to own. I seen they still had copies of The Fatal Feast (Waste in Space) too I'll have to grab.

Black Line. With Douglas McCarthy. I might be late to this, but I'm digging this.
Good Heavens To Betsy. I went to middle school with one of those girls. I always knew she'd end up in a band. LOL

Massive Attack - Antistar. My favorite song by far.
most everything from Rhythm of Cruelty... a bit doomy in the post-punk and sparse electronic stylings.
checking out Yakuza, specifically their album "of seismic consequence"
very mixed feelings. they do some things really well and other things not so much.
also planning on checking out Bloodiest, which has one member of Yakuza and i think a member of Stabbing Westward? the chicago music scene is so tangled.
Listening to a playlist of both Add Violence and NTAE with Before the Flood, TessaeracT's Polaris, Filter's Crazy Eyes, One Hundred Thousand's The forms in which they appear, Digital Daggers Mixed Emotions, Enter Shikari's The Mindsweep and Vex Red's Start with a strong and persistent desire.
