Ordered the Deluxe. Very excited. My email is giving me links to 320kps mp3s even though I'm 90% sure I selected Apple Lossless, but whatever. (If anyone else noticed this issue, I'd love to hear about it so I know it's not just me.)

Minutes away from sitting down with headphones and enjoying the sampler!

My Deluxe Edition order says "320 Kbps MP3" for the complete download even though I chose a different format. Anyone else have this problem?

I am going to buy it, I am just more interested in the AIFF that got leaked because the leaked MP3 (on blogs) is 2:48 in length. However, the WAV is 2:53 in length. The tail end of the track just goes on for a little bit longer from what I can tell. I haven't actually done a direct comparison of the tracks though. I am curious if the AIFF is identical to the WAV or not.

Was distracted by Thursday night TV, then saw the tweet from Trent. Frantically searched for my misplaced wallet (as is the case) and, after tearing up my room, ordered that deluxe edition. I learned my lesson with Ghosts: don't wait around. That packaging (even in its incomplete/unfinished state) just sounds too good.

Agreed, for most it would be nice if there were more in between options rather than jumping from $14 to $300. Oh well.

Where is the 8 minute trailer? iTunes only? I tried clicking the link from the TR post, iTunes launched and it says page not found within the program. Is it possible to extract something like the video from iTunes? I don't know much about iTunes, I only use it when I HAVE to (cases like this).

Cool. So it matches the WAV then. I think whoever encoded the MP3 did something funky and it resulted in some slight time compression (enough to drop 5sec).

I loaded it up in Audacity to verify. The start out the same and then slowly get more and more out of sync.
WAV on top. MP3 on bottom.

Well it is a six piece vinyl set, costly to produce I'm sure, so it makes sense that it would be limited to a deluxe edition.
