I'm picturing someone stole the videos, put them in a storage locker, forgot about said locker or, I don't know, got arrested, and then this dude bought the contents in a completely legal auction. That's what happens to storage lockers after they default I believe. So, even though the stuff inside is stolen, this guy didn't steal them, he just owns a locker full of stolen stuff.
The only person who might actually be able to do anything is Carson, who's already contacted the seller and who told the story about legally buying the contents of the locker.
