Gun control (also known as weapons regulation) is supported by the U.S. Constitution as well the U.S. Supreme Court, and is not linked to a conspiracy. Conspiracy theorists ALWAYS point to hidden secrets and cover-ups.

Like I said, the proof is in the results. Even you said that the proposals aren't going to fix the problem. If the proposals were the result of a rational thought process, you'd think they would have a bigger impact.

Having been in law for over 24 years, I do not subscribe to your "proof is in the results" reasoning. Robbery laws do NOT eliminate robberies. Yet, we still have robbery laws. Because we need laws. Each law is more specifically defined by case law. I suspect this will also be the case with any new weapons regulations.

What? I'm not sure the point you're trying to get across here but those incidents would have never happened in knife shows. You can't accidentally discharge a knife.
The knife vs gun argument is one of the most stupid in mankind history.
In the story above, 3 people were injured by the same shotgun, which discharged once. Explain to me how would you do that with a knife.

I'm questioning the "accidental discharge" of guns at these shows. While taking a shotgun out of a case? Dubious.
Deepvoid: Understand that there will ALWAYS be guns in the U.S. It's guaranteed in the Constitution. That will NEVER change.
The U.S. also has a LOT of REALLY stupid people. It's hard to do a "stupid" test to obtain a gun permit. Since we can't do a "stupid" test before people breed, it's an endless problem. Guns sometimes assist in natural selection.

No. The reason nobody will make a fuss about it is because it isn't an "assault weapon." Most shotguns don't look scary. A shotgun can instantly dump 9 lumps of .33 ammo with a single shot. Those scary assault rifles dump single shots of the smaller .223 ammo... clearly we need to ban the scary looking assault rifles. The people who design gun control legislation are fucking geniuses!
