And the reason why people feel a wee bit bad for her, is because she is a very hard working professional doing a good job but of course general jealousy makes it so that we have to find something to mock her, so we - lazy, shitty fucks at life that we are - can once again feel good about ourselves.

    Let me clarify that: I don't dislike bullying. Having suffered through it, watching it destroy people I love and students I deeply care for and seeing it's aftereffects on otherwise sane and wonderful people, I hate it.
    But what I hate infinitely more than the bullies themselves, who are egoless bags of home neglect and bad attention craving, are people who stand by and say 'Oh, well, it's always been like that. Kids will be kids. Grow thicker skin.'

    Yes, we all know the internet functions as a sociopath. That doesn't mean I have to like it. The moment I stop feeling pissed off when something happens that I know to be wrong, I'll have been assimilated. I plan to stay out of the hivemind for as long as I can though.
