@elevenism - Yeah, sorry about that, since I prefer to keep private messages off these days. I actually thought that you left for a while again as well, and I was cleaning up my inbox and outbox. I also made sure to mention you in the Provider Module thread as well. It should tell you all about it.

My bad for also forgetting that you went off somewhere else. That hotel looked pretty sweet by the way.

I have become kind of obsessed with "extreme" haunted houses the last few days. I'm not sure I'd ever try one, but after reading up on McKamey Manor (seriously, Google it...it either sounds terrifying or incredibly lame) I came across this one. Only one of these haunted houses (Gates of Hell) is an "extreme" haunted house but the other two sound like a blast from what I've read (Hidden passageways! Being chased by a killer clown through a room filled with giant balls! I have no idea what that means but it sounds cool!)

I would totally go do these (ok, maybe not Gates of Hell...not sure) if I had someone to roadtrip with to Vegas.

This theory only works with the original Gene Wilder film; not the book and not the tragic Tim Burton remake, so keep that in mind...

Let's examine Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory for a minute, shall we?
Willy Wonka, in an effort to find an heir to the throne, sends out five golden tickets in his candy bars for random children to find. That's what he says, but there's more behind it...

The five children show up at the factory, each with an adult in tow. That's ten people altogether, not including Mr. Wonka. When they get to the main candy room (after signing waivers), the first thing that happens is fucking Augustus "falls" in the chocolate river and is sucked up a pipe (large enough for a child) while his mother is led out after Wonka happily admits that the pipe leads to the boiler room. Then the boat comes chugging out of the tunnel to pick everyone up... There are only eight seats, plus one for Wonka.
Next, in the inventing room, chewing gum obsessed Violet eats the faulty Three Course Dinner gum, turning her into a giant blueberry. She gets rolled out to be "squeezed" with her father in tow.
After that, Charlie and Grandpa Joe very nearly get eviscerated by the ceiling fan in the Fizzy Lifting Drinks room, but ultimately survive because they're men and belch constantly.
Once they're back with the group, Veruca (who's an absolutely "rotten" piece of shit), falls down the garbage chute with her equally terrible father.
At this point, there are four people left with Mr. Wonka. They all board the Wonkamobile which has exactly five seats on it. When they arrive at the Wonkavision room, there are exactly five jumpsuits outside the door. Shortly thereafter, Mike gets shrunken down to the size of a sex toy (or the size of a candy bar) and gets escorted out with his mother, thus leaving only Charlie and Grandpa Joe left.

Not only did the Oompa Loompas have pre written and rehearsed songs tailored to each child that was lost (they didn't get to use the one they had written for Charlie), but if you look closely when Augustus falls in the river, it looks an awful lot like Wonka actually nudged him in with his shin.
Why did almost everything everything work so perfectly like it did? Because Wonka KNEW these things were going to happen, because he PLANNED on them happening because the secret ingredient in his candy is people. The only reason Charlie "wins" is because Wonka couldn't kill him, but Wonka knew that that was a possibility (having Slugworth research and spy on all the children, he must have known that Charlie would probably survive), so he planned around that and ended up giving the factory to Charlie and sharing his "secret" recipes with him, thus continuing Wonka's legacy of human infused chocolate.

Also, I don't know about you all, but I've always wanted to ride that boat.
