Listened to "Less Than" a couple of times and watched the video now that I'm home. I'm really liking it. Not as aggro as the previous EP and a more dance-y. It feels as if it had been written in-between sessions for With Teeth and Hesitation Marks.

That's what I especially love about the video. That moment in combination with the ending chorus expands the song into something truly epic.

Admittedly, I was a bit 'meh' about the track until the chorus kicked in, and by the end I was hooked. Pretty damn good. Love the electro/retro/rocky vibe it has going on. Can't wait for next week.

I can't stop listening either. Definitely the strongest NIN single in quite some time. I'd say probably since Survivalism.

Dear goodness. It just keeps getting better and better. As I've mentioned in the Random NIN Thoughts thread, even if it was Polybius being shown, it also gave me huge F-Zero and Star Fox vibes too. *Which definitely made it feel like a great time to be a NIN fan and a F-Zero/Star Fox fan, because of that.*

Less Than will definitely stick as one of my favorites.

And as much as I actually speculate/wonder, I always try to give songs and albums to grow though, as well as giving time for them to sink in for months and years in regards to overall reception and opinions changing and growing, but this is definitely an instant winner to me, just like She's Gone Away and Burning Bright (Field on Fire).

Trent Reznor really is just the gift/blessing that keeps on giving.
