I'd love to see a double album, but between The Social Network, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Call of Duty, and possible Nine Inch Nails material, I don't think they've had the proper amount of time to put something like that together. I could be wrong (that would be a pretty good thing to be wrong about, hehe), but I imagine this will be a single album, probably around the same length as The Slip/Pretty Hate Machine.

Perhaps I'm in the minority here and will probably be kicked in the teeth for saying so, but here's my opinion of HTDA.

Love the sound. Great beats, melodies, mixtures, transitions and sounds. It screams Trent Reznor all over it, and I love that. But, I think that it would be better having been all instrumental.

Now before anyone shits on me, let me say that this is not a dig on Mariqueen's singing abilities. She's actually pretty good. But my problem is, a song starts playing and right away my brain says "Trent Reznor... Nine Inch Nails... Sounds like it's gonna be pretty awesome..." And then in come the vocals from someone that is not Trent Reznor. It just doesn't sound right. It sounds like NIN being sung by someone else. And being a female voice is an even further departure from what I am expecting.

I guess if I can past expecting to hear Trent, or no vocals at all, it's pretty good. I'm just finding it very hard to do so...

Nonetheless, great to see Trent rolling along and I wish HTDA tremendous success...

Does anyone know what is going on technically speaking in the song Keep it Together?

I am blown away by the subtle effect on Mariqueens voice. When she says "tremolo", yeah of course we hear the harmony, but underneath, her delay/echo comes out slightly more prominently. It sounds like a quiet little scattered loop of her voice that ends abruptly. What gear are they using for her voice? It looks like they've got Traktor set up too or something...

Who knows what instrument Rob used in the music video for Ice Age? I'm talking about the big box/computer looking thing with the old school screen; the instrument making the high pitched ringing/droning sound.

Trent was using a Dolceola (and to pre-empt, Atticus was using a Harmolin)
