Just picked up the 2010 remaster of PHM on Vinyl and I'm in love
took it back to my local store and they let me exchange it (but their distributor isn't offering it anymore, which tells me it's finally gotten back to the proper people that there's something wrong with the pressing).
in its place, i picked up:
iceage - plowing through the fields of love
bauhaus - mask
my nin.com copy of gone girl finally came, too.
Got this in the mail today:
Jacket is a little flimsier than I'd prefer it to be, but overall I think it was worth the money. The Infinity Stone variant truly looks amazing in person. Plus the unannounced secret second handbill was pretty cool.
^^^^^^^
SUPER FUCKING JEALOUS Rich.....
Stopped by a Hot Topic today to see if I could manage a copy of the new MM album, no luck, but I did have my dog with me and the manager fell in love. So much so that she offered to give me a buy one, get one 50% off deal on any two vinyls I wanted since the MM was no in stock. Here's what I picked up.....
Lt.Randazzo - you need to swing by and pick these up if your local HT still has them in stock.
Have you tried calling the label directly? I remember when Sub Pop was releasing their loser editions of some of their releases and one of them was fucked up with a scratched that was pressed into the master disc. My friend ended up with one of these early copies, called Sub Pop to let them know about it, and they shipped out a replacement since they had received a bunch of calls about it. They didn't even ask for proof of purchase or anything.
I'm still pissed that my copy came with two copies of the first vinyl. I finally got around to opening it after having it in my collection for years and now I'm stuck with an incomplete copy.

Thanks @BBomkamp for posting the link to the Jurassic Park vinyl. You're post disappeared for some reason but I managed to snag a copy anyways
For those of you who missed it.......

listening to the (deluxe version of the) new sleater-kinney album. 180g white vinyl in a double-gatefold package with a hard slipcase. sounds fantastic, and the album itself is INCREDIBLE. this is exactly what i would have hoped for out of a new S-K album, and i am very happy about it.
@NotoriousTIMP I can't seem to reach you via PMs so I figured this'd be the best thread for it, but have you shipped that 10" for Manson out yet? Just wanting to know, I never got an update on that.
Got my Gone Girl OST in in, have had the new Manson record on the standard black vinyl since release day now and have been spinning it heavily. @eversonpoe it's really shit to hear that that the Your Funeral, My Trial RP is having so many issues. That's one I really meant to pick up, I'm glad I've let it wait now. Hope you can get a proper copy of it, let us know when you do!
@NotoriousTIMP how much was Rosenrot? Any idea how it sounds on vinyl?
First copy of ATYCLB. I've been dying to get my hands on an original pressing but when I found this picture disc for $26 I couldnt pass it up. As far as Rammstein goes, I think I paid around $34 shipped, maybe a little bit more.
@richardp - If I ever get my hands on an original pressing I will sell you the picture disc for $26 + shipping
I cannot recommend the SHIT ROBOT LPs enough.....The tracks with Nancy Wang on them are stellar!

just listened to the new marilyn manson album and i LOVED IT. the best since mechanical animals, and the only one since holy wood where i liked (or loved) every song and didn't feel the need to skip anything. super happy about it. and it was SO FUN to listen to it, too. i was sexy-dancing around pretty much the whole time haha
Yesterday's pulls from Easystreet Records in west seattle. Someone unloaded a whole new wave collection that was MINT and I snagged a few of the DM records that still have plastic wrap w/ hype stickers on them. Then I managed to come across a splatter vinyl for DM as well as a gold promo stamp copy of the FMJ soundtrack. All of this was only $24 too!
oh, I also received my GoHasting.com variant of the new MM album as well....
ooooooooh, hey Bjork fans!!! Check this out!!!

Well a small part of me has died knowing I missed out on coloured vinyl releases of John Carpenter's "Lost Themes".
How much were the variants @sheepdean ?
Black and White was £20 though that sold out before I got there, the other colours were all in the 30 range
If you're down for some shipping, record store.co.uk just added a handful of B&W https://www.recordstore.co.uk/record...yl/3KYK0000000

If Amazon hadn't already dispatched mine, I'd totally have grabbed one.
Ah well, split colour always has the risk of noise on the overlap, solid colours are safer!

@NotoriousTIMP you're the best! Sent me a copy of Manson's Third Day of a Seven Day Binge record store exclusive 10" for basically free when it's already marked up like crazy on eBay and Discogs:
And, because he's awesome, gave me some Hesitation Marks buttons with it:
And along with all that awesomeness on my doorstep this morning, my girlfriend decided to gift me these out of nowhere:
