It sounds great but the vinyl that is blowing me away is FareWell Poetry - Hoping for the Invisible to Ignite. God it is so fucking good on this format. The poetry seems a little cheesy but man it hits me right in the heart .its what Godspeed sounds like on vinyl but this is a band in their prime

Excellent finds! It kills me that I STILL don't' have Scab Dates! It's the one piece of 12" Volta vinyl I don't have....I haven't seen it anywhere except eBay for huge amounts.

Got the new Four Tet collection in the week 0181, you can download the mp3 for free from his soundcloud but I enjoyed it so much I wanted the vinyl.

Well worth checking out in my opinion.

Apparently its 'sold out' now, it only came out on Monday. I think it was a limited pressing

I was just looking through some art papers that I had and noticed this creation from artist Simon Elvins...

Paper Record Player
Paper & vinyl - 400x330x280mm

Fully working, manual record player made entirely of paper. To play the record the handle needs to be turned in a clockwise direction at a steady 33^1/3rpm. The paper cone then acts as a pickup, amplifying the sound enough to make it audible. (Record shown, The Sound of Music 1965).

Yeah I downloaded the leak last night but only listened to maybe 3 seconds of each song. Starting to think I want to wait to listen to it on vinyl first.

The drive soundtrack is the best sounding vinyl I own. I swear its worth every penny, and its pink and awesome as shit. I love it so much. Now if I could just receive the Autechre, nick cave, and atoms for peace vinyl my life will be awesome as hell.
