"Supernaut" 12" by 1000 Homo DJs (DAMN this sounds good!)
"Hobo Humpin' Slobo Babe" 12" by Whale (kinda of disappointed with it... lazy remixes mostly)

(just knocking more and more off of my wish list instead of wandering into a shop and just spending cash)

Last order of the month finally arrived...

"Mix It Yourself" by Ministry (12" promo of N.W.O. with a bonus beats version and a non-LP track -- I quite like that bonus beats version)

I picked up all of these records in the last 7 days...

It's no wonder we've acquired 726 records in 17 months.

i really like that My Brightest Diamond record. her follow-up wasn't bad but it didn't feel as inspired. her first two albums are still my favs, though. also, she put on an AMAZING show a few years ago when i saw her in chicago (and if i remember, she was very pregnant at the time so the amount of energy she had was astounding)

*EDIT* I just noticed that this is only for The Two Towers...that price is insane. The other two are equally expensive

It is, but that's a lot of fucking music, especially if it truly IS the complete recording set that they put out on CD several years ago. I'm surprised they're not more.

5 platters divided by 108$ is only 21.60$ / platter... which is really quite reasonable. Then we bring in the packaging... yeah, I'd say this is quite well priced for what it is.

Yes, she's fabulous! I'm a big fan and All Things Will Unwind was the last full-length record I needed to complete my collection, now I just have to grab the EPs.

Sidenote: I'm traveling to Ireland next month for work and am looking for good record shops in the Dublin area if anyone here has recommendations

Ok Tom Waits fans, of the new remasters which should I buy first? I have no preference on the order I buy them either.

Probably will buy the Orphans trilogy separately record by record over time though.

Edit: I just bought Alice, Real Gone and Bad As Me.

I will buy another one next week!

Mule Variations is my personal favorite, but just buy whichever one's you like the most. I'm in the process of buying them all lol. Still just need to pick up Bad As Me, Closing Time, and Nighthawks.

Real Gone, Bone Machine and Heart Attack and Vine are my favorites but Real Gone is the only one available now so that was an obvious choice.

I’ll pick up Mule Variations or Blood Money next week.

I spent the last several days in Nashville for work. While I was there, I swung by this place...

...and picked up a couple of live recordings (and a pint glass):

Well, Mondo tweeting out that worldwide shipping is free for a few days led to $350 disappearing, sigh...

Thanks for the tip, finally dipped on the Fight Club OST. Wondering if I should have bought 2...

Holy crap @eversonpoe that's a collection all right. Here's my (MUCH more modest) setup

    (bigger pic)

I've just recently modified the top door to fit the narrower gap and swapped out the handles so I had a matching set of 3, as well as fit hinges and modesty blocks. I'm now wondering whether to move up to 2x6 or wittle my collection down a bit so I have some breathing room. All my 12" (and 9, and 10) fit in the doored-spaces, but I can't get all my 7"s onto that shelf above the receiver anymore.
