Over the years, your own video recordings. What are your favorites?

Here are some of my own personal highlights that I just love, recorded from the pit. Share your stand-outs!

"Did you enjoy your intermission?" -

And, of course, the one that has now over 500,000 views thanks to several news sites picking it up back in 2007:

That was you recorded that Sydney show? Love that, makes me jealous I don't live in Sydney. Was that the show where the power went out?

Yes that's right. Stood in the dark for half an hour! It cut out during Burn. After the intermission 1,000,000 was played, then Burn a second time.

    Playlist is here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...ature=view_all

Also, here is the playlist for the festival for that same tour run in Sydney if interested:

Speaking of SICNH live versions: It always sounds like Trent's yelling "I just want champagne (pronounced ChomPeng/Sean Penn) I can never have"

Probably the only thing I love about that song

I didn't shoot this one (clearly), but I edited it, and obviously somebody likes it 'cause it's been watched almost three million times.

I'd like to thank Rob Sheridan for making the rehearsal lighting appear so moody, the band for looking so emo, Trent Reznor for shitcanning the official music video, ac1dfr3ak for making $$$ in YouTube kickbacks, and the movie Wanted for sending more of Middle America in NIN's direction.

Thanks, I have some other stuff from that show I never posted. I watched all of TDS in the pit so most of that is useless but I did record some of the stuff after hurt from the same angle as the Numan clip!

This was my first video (or Video8) and it's pretty fucking horrible, but it was the best I could do back in the early NINeties.

About 18 years later, I was genuinely surprised how well a still camera could record video.

Hey FULLMETAL - did you tape any more of that show? If I'm not mistaken, that looks like the first time you've ever uploaded it, going by the youtube date...

Here's mine from the Mountain View Wave Goodbye Tour. At some point I was hoping to create a Blu-Ray out of it with better sound, less noise, and some color correction, but I never got around to it.

Yeah, I recorded the whole set. The camera work does not get any better, but I suppose if peeps want to see it I can upload the other songs.

That's pretty cool. I'm sure people would love to see it if you have time to upload it all.

Absolutely. I can't think of any other audience-shot video from the Lollapalooza tour, so this is pretty historically significant stuff.

    PLEASE DO!

I favorited that video on YT forever ago and it didn't even occur to me you might be a member here, that's awesome!

And I wouldn't worry too much about the camera work, it's actually one of your video's charms.

Normally, all that crowd-in-the-way stuff would be super-annoying, but since it's a daylight set at and captures the zeitgeist so perfectly it's honestly fucking AWESOME to see and really puts the viewer IN THE CROWD while watching it.

Great fucking stuff, man..."historically significant," indeed!

Can't WAIT to see more, thanks!

Full Metal - That recording looks AWESOME considering that its from 1991. Please please please post up the other tracks Looks like it was a good set too.....

I'm excited for "Get Down Make Love" since I have never seen live footage of that song from 1991. Thank you sir for sharing this show with us, the audio is excellent and I hope that you won't mind if someone rips it from the videos for the NIN Drive.

EDIT: Looks like there are a couple of sources for this show - http://www.gladcarrot.com/1991_Nothing.htm#1991-08-20

The video source referenced on GladCarrot's site is FULLMETAL's recording. However, the copy in general circulation is from a high generation VHS dub. FULLMETAL's clip that he posted looks much better quality-wise, so a fresh DVD authored from the source would be greatly appreciated.
