Uncharted 3

What does everyone think of this game? I'm about two hours into it and it seems to be quite the slow burner. The aiming feels off but I know there is an optional patch being released in a few days or was just released. Game looks gorgeous and plays well. The story is interesting but the puzzles are not always the easiest to understand, that fucking journal. . .

Picked it up, beat it, traded for Skyrim. I really wanted to think it was super awesome but I've never quite understood the Uncharted series I guess. These games tend to get 10's across the board, but I've felt there are many other action games around with better stories and gameplay, so color me confused.

I'm not saying the games are bad or anything, I'm just saying i don't understand the hype.

Also, since acquiring every one of these games, I can say they're some of my favorite current generation series now. Not to mention the immersion of character, story and action that make these games fun. I'm glad I was able to get Uncharted 3 at that deal from Target back in April. It made me go and get the other two games, otherwise I'd have missed out on this. Better late than never!

I'm an odd one though....I have started and gotten far in all 3 but haven't beat any of them yet.

You know, now that I think of it, Uncharted 3 is the first one I haven't beaten multiple times - just the one time. Now that I have a new PSN account, I guess I should play through them all again and go trophy hunting once more. And, ya know, maybe play multiplayer. Maybe. :P

I don't like the multiplayer in Uncharted 3. Uncharted 2's multiplayer was so much more fluid, simple and fun...Well, before all the health patches they did.

I'm good in Uncharted 2's multiplayer but I suck a big one on 3's multiplayer, I don't know why. It's baffling to me.

Yup. I'm the same exact way. There's just a big difference but I don't know what the difference really is. So you're not alone on that one.

I wouldn't know either way, I guess! :P I can't wait to get my apartment in a couple months so I won't have to deal with 6 other people using the main TV (which is the only one I can use to hook up to the internet).

Who thought that whole Desert scene in Uncharted 3 was absolutely useless? i mean graphically it was cool and i guess it serves the purpose for the character but gameplay wise they chopped it up so oddly between what was a cut scene and what you could actually play/do, i just didn't really like it.

That's about the only thing i hated in U3, loved seeing Chloe return, one of my favorite female characters since Uncharted 2..... to be honest i can't stand Elena.. she's such an annoyance to me so whenever there's some Chloe action I'm all for it plus it's Claudia Black doing the voice, Farscape and Stargate SG-1 anyone?

Could we get the thread title changed to "Uncharted Franchise" or something? I was going to start a new thread, but I figure it'll just be easier to keep this one going. Teaser for the new Uncharted game!



And of course, I googled some of the places shown on the map. It gives you an idea for what we can probably expect in terms of setting and "lost cities" that make up the majority of Uncharted lore.
