Bro, your pants look hella baggy. That would look really nice with some slightly fitted pants!

The other day, I bought a $50 memory foam pillow. I then regretted it because I was like WHO BUYS A $50 PILLOW?! But fuck. This thing is magical. I love it.

After years of being a bit of a hermit, getting out and really enjoying live music from some of my favourite groups. I had forgotten how good it could be.

Reinstalling Windows 7. It's good as new, and it also amazes and reminds me just how much I took regular loading for granted, especially when I'm on Firefox. (Not to say that it was Firefox's fault, as Firefox stood the test of time for me. It was more to do with my actual computer.)

Firefox also standing the test of time for me as my favorite Internet browser also cheers me up. Firefox has actually been very good to me since 2005, now that I think about it. I also might've strayed to Safari for a few years, but Firefox still won me over in the long run.

    You dapper bastard.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes to dress up for no real reason other than "just because" or "I rock this shit".

I went to the Guggeinheim last week and saw their tiny exhibition of Kandinsky's before abstraction work. Sort of like seeing Picasso's early work, which they also had a few of those in their permanent collection. Unrecognizable.

Theses Picassos are so different than his later work.

My BF really liked this one. So blue, gray, and dreary. Oh, it cheers me up that he goes to museums with me. I know he does it because he knows I like going.

I totally get what you mean by that. For me, that good feeling is often at its peak during the first song of the set and the middle of the set. It would be nicer if I had some people to go with these days, but as of now I've proven to myself that I can enjoy concerts alone, and I'm not even much of a concert person to start with.

I went to my first show in 9 months last week and it was amazing. I really had a tough year and I forgot just how much live music can lift your spirits.

Being sick, I went to get my fucking iPhone swapped. I had minimal makeup on, my hair in a greasy bun and I was not looking cute at all. The guy at Apple asked me out on a date.

spent a couple hours this afternoon listening to the new circa survive album & the new pressing of "futures" by jimmy eat world on vinyl while wrapping presents. i have everything done except two gifts that will be delivered this week.

side note: i got my wife WAY too many presents this year, on top of buying at least something for each of my close friends.

Yes Skeletor, I DO remember! Was one of my favorite toys as a kid. Only thing that might compete with it was original NES...

That unknown person who is still seeding AVOTT (The Gift) all these years later. Now that I've got a machine that can actually handle 1080p, having only the DVD version to watch was making me sad.

I'll keep seeding that sucker for the next 20 years, just because some stranger made my day.

    She's getting better!

yesterday was my wife's birthday, and she loved the presents i gave her!

    - a hardcover copy of the book "faeries" by brain froud (that came with several frame-able prints)
    - this wallet
    - the mst3k turkey day collection
    - and this dress (which i actually gave her a month early in case she wanted to wear it for thanksgiving) that looks so incredible on her it's ridiculous:

    Ha haaaaaaaa!

Just used my abandoned old Twitter account to find a video I was looking for. (My vague description was not appeasing the Google God.) Knew I mentioned it somewhere circa 2009, and that would be Twitter … or the old ETS.
