Sometimes being reminded that I could've been a James. It was an idea that floated around before I was named Kristoffer. It's not that long, and it can also be abbreviated into just Jim, which I've also liked, and that it's only one syllable, and that the abbreviation is shorter than Kris.

I also was about to be named Kristoffer James, but it was decided that it would've been too long. Looking back at it, I could've just returned to ETS back in 2011 as James or Jim, or any variation with James or Jim in it if they weren't taken back then, since I could've used a real name that wasn't mine, yet was still connected to my actual name in some way. It has also given me ideas for E-mail addresses and Facebook and Twitter accounts.

I also like the name James, because of me also happening to like the following.

I started a fundraiser offhand to raise a couple of hundred bucks for something that happened back home. Got picked up by my local news back home. Did an interview.

Now a reporter from USA TODAY just emailed and wants me to do a phone interview.

I know that USA TODAY is kind of the LOL of national newspapers. But holy shit. I just asked her if I could call in like 30 minutes because I had work to do. But uhhh... I'm nervous as shit.

Waking up to a frosty morning and getting ready to go to a Christmas market, not usually my sort of thing but am going with some nice people and I have lots of warm clothes.

San Francisco trip went pretty well (despite a very rough start). I didn't get a chance to explore the city much, so that sucks. I did manage to see a few things (the Castro District was probably the highlight; that place is awesome). Got to live exclusively as a woman for a few days, which was nice. Not sure how much it helped me decide what I'm doing but it was nice to be able to interact with the world in a way I actually wanted. Now I'm back home and back to reality. Back to my shitty job tomorrow. Woo hoo.

Moving to our new place next week! Should be just enough time to get unpacked and get shit sorted for christmas. We'll be hosting our own little family Christmas which I'm super stoked about..starting our own traditions and such

Probably a work thread thing but since that way dead atm I'll post here. Finally got a straight up promotion. No we'll see how it goes, jerk me around shit. Straight up Sue Chef job. Salary, vacation, title, more work etc. Laid right out on the table if I want it.
Nothing I haven't done before as far as work goes I'll just finally get paid to do it, the title is nice too.
