I Doubt it'll be flagged and removed. It's not the worst thing up on YouTube, that's for sure. I didn't even find the video that disturbing to be honest.
Song is more fucked up than the video was.

Oh good god I'm so happy this project exists.

That's the most fun I've had watching a music video since, well, probably the last Rammstein video. It couldn't be weirder and yet it's so perfectly Till, I don't even know. That whole final section makes me irrationally happy, it's just so bombastically gleeful about it. And goddamn that lounge jazz version at the end, I could take a whole album of that.

Till's dancing and just pure theatricality never gets old. People have definitely been wrong to think he'd not be into the music game anymore, this looks like he's having a blast.

That's true but if i recall they couldn't even host Ich tu dir Weh on Youtube for whatever reason, all the ones on there have warped audio.

    That video was entertaining.
It somewhat reminded my of Type O Negative's more absurd lyrics.
I'm looking forward to hearing the album.

that's because of the song censorship, isn't it? the same reason they had to reissue LIFAD in Germany with the song removed.

Yep. The single and the uncensored version of the album were "de-indexed" in May 2010, though.

I think Wolfenstein 3D might still be on there...

I loved that song. it's so stupid lyrically and I love his oversized hat. The video was really, really bizarre and I enjoyed the viewing. Don't really understand the point of the pig snout nose type deal but whatever.

Praise Abort! Instantly catchy and fun. I haven't felt this way about any new song in the last few months. If only Manson could bite so hard. I mean, I liked The Pale Emperor, but it's barely "above average". Lindemann is just great.

Which is fitting because this is also my first ETS post in ages wooooo

Anyone got the full lyrics to Fat? This is what I hear,

    >>

    your dirty sweat
    my sweetest potion
    your armpits one pit
    little oceans
    your flabby bottom
    a soggy cave
    i put in my parts
    and let them bathe
    so call me freaky
    call me sick
    i like it sticky
    i like it big
    fat

    i hate it skinny
    i hate it flat
    i don't need mini
    i like it fat

    people laughing
    about your size
    we can fuck them
    on your french fries
    when i break open
    your king size bra
    your giant boobs are
    just wunderbar

    call me freaky
    call me sick
    i like it sticky
    i like it big
    i hate it skinny
    i hate it flat
    i don't need mini
    i like it fat

    every night
    i have this dream
    i'm sliding down
    a sloppy stream
    straight in your mouth
    the ? is strong
    i eat your lips
    your furry tongue

    you call me freaky
    you call me sick
    i like yours sticky
    i like yours big
    i hate your skinny
    i hate your flat
    dont need your mini
    i like your fat

    so call it crazy
    or call it fate
    just ... ?

    but your holes are
    so hard to find
    it doesn't matter
    i'll fuck you
    fuck you from behind

The lyrics for Fat are so ridiculous and cliche but I LOVE the song. The music is phenomenal. Even with the joke lyrics, the way they're sung...they sound cool haha. I can't wait for this album. I need it in a bad way.

I just downloaded the Remix EP. That Clemens Wijers Remix is awesome.

Edit: As for Fat, I meant the original, album mix as well:

So now that we've got snippets of all the songs I think I can safely say this is lyrically all over the place and does a great job at showing off to Rammstein fans who either don't know German or don't look at translations the fairly wide palette Till's drawn from over the years, with childish filthy glee and dark, slithering poetry. Hopefully the second album they've announced delves deeper into that, but this is like a great sampler for people who aren't familiar with his lyrics. To go from a song like Ladyboy to Home Sweet Home is the kind of thing I'd only expect from Till. The music seems fuckin' lovely. I'm dying to hear the full track for Home Sweet Home, reminds me of Silent Hill's music for some reason.

Skills In Pills is a killer song. Praise Abort is a blast. I'm beyond excited for this, totally has caught me off guard. I feel bad for how much more I love this over Emigrate. Part of it really is Till's voice though; his vocals have always been some of my favorite from any singer out there and really brings a layer to Rammstein that is totally vital. There's this rich, deep and warm sadness to his singing that's always there and it's just so operatic.

Part of me wishes that they would release the songs in German as well. The way the lyrics are written in English sound better translated in his native tongue. Just an opinion.

I have yet to hear any snippet minus the praise abort video. Soon!!!

Based on what I heard (full versions of Fat and Praise Abort and a couple clips), unless the rest of the songs have a more serious tone, I've lost interested in the project. It's way too childish and silly sounding, even for Till. I would not want to be caught listening to those songs in public, they lyrical content in some of these songs is on par with watching a porno on your iphone while you take the bus to work... It's tasteless as fuck! I know Till can do so, so much better. The guy is a musical genius, but this is far from his best work.

This makes me want to listen to Emigrate, and I can't stand Emigrate... I think this goes to show that the guys shine the best when they are working together in Rammstein. United they stand, divided they fall.

I expected you to. You're loving this stuff. But personally, I don't hear the appeal... These lyrics just aren't my thing. I guess I don't like to listen to dirty comedy lyrics.
I know he's trying to be humorous, but it's a little too over the top and distasteful for me. But that's just my opinion. If people like it, power to them. This used to be my most anticipated album release for 2015, til I heard Praise Abort and Fat. I can't listen to those songs again, it's like nails on a chalk board for me. I only hope there are at least a couple "serious" songs on this album.

It's definitely music i wouldn't listen to outside of headphones lol but i don't think what I've heard so far is necessarily bad.

Not for everyone though which is understandable.

Personally i am liking this far more than Emigrate's cookie cutter tunes.

Skills In Pills, Home Sweet Home, Yukon all seem far more serious. Rammstein's the band that has songs about the Berlin wall and fucking a dog and incest and rape and all sorts of subjects, a ton of which are "tasteless." Maybe you just haven't noticed because it's in German, but it's what you've been listening to, especially if you listen to the first few albums. Herzeleid and Sehnsucht are full of "filthy" lyrics. Even Mutter has Rein, Raus and Zwitter. It's always been a very broad scope of subject matter and seriousness and this is just taking that, applying it to English and going from there.

Besides I don't exactly like the idea that lyrics are the end all be all of music. You've not said anything about the musical content itself at all, and most of it is very similar to what I'd identify as Rammstein. I don't know what it is that you were expecting at all, it seems really odd to me considering you seem to be really into R+. If lyrics matter so much I'd assume you'd have looked into R+'s and you'd not be surprised by this at all.

I mean song titles alone here even were quite an indicator. What'd you expect Ladyboy to be about?
