    Great list!

I also need to add Vergiss Uns Nicht as my number 11, if I get to add one more to the mix. That and Halleluja.

Spring is quite possibly one of my absolute favorite songs by the band. Sooooo freaking good.

When it comes to remixes, I've mainly been spinning Benzin and Ohne Dich mixes.

At the moment though, I'd put all of Skills In Pills as #1, then those other choices subsequent to those @Space Suicide haha, no joke!

Swear, this album is like my whole personality perfectly encapsulated in one record.

I suggest you go see a counselor if that's the case...

I'd be there with you. Love the album.

    haha.

I can't believe how well written and poetic Home Sweet Home is. What do you think the meaning of the "Home Sweet Home" part is? When everything else in the song is basically talking about cancer and how the person is going bald and dying from it?

"Home sweet home, so deep inside," - like is that meant to say that the cancer is home? That we all ultimately succumb to something within ourselves and home represents death inside us all or something like that?

Second random thought: do you think Richard is pissed at how similar the opening riff to Golden Shower is to My World by Emigrate?

Also, listening to said song now, can't you just picture Till doing the Till-hammer as the song starts? And imagine it live... If he had a giant dick for Pussy live, imagine what he'll do live for Golden Shower. Hahahaha fuck I love this man.

@Space Suicide hurry up and reply to this post and the above.

Also, just ordered the super deluxe from eGay.

Top 10, no particular order because I'm too indecisive:

    Mein Herz Brennt
    Bestrafe Mich
    Feuer und Wasser
    Stein Um Stein
    Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da
    Wollt Ihr das ...
    Amour
    Adios
    Fruhling In Paris

You're right! It was extremely tough. I went through all the songs and narrowed it down to 18 at first and that's when things started getting difficult.
I had to actually throw on the remaining songs for a listen to help me complete the list. But hey, nice to see some love for Alter Mann from someone else! That was my #1 pick without hesitation. Always will be, love that track.

I think AM just gets lost in a great record. Except the last two songs. Absolute filler there.

Friggin' hipster! (No singles was probably a rule!)

But for serious: "Donaukinder," BD and WB were damn close cuts for my list too. Edged out by singles, evidently...

I beg to differ about the final two songs on Sehnsucht being filler. I think Eifersucht and Kuss Mich are FANTASTIC songs! That whole trio of songs from Alter Mann to Kuss Mich is like 3 punches to the face to me. If anything is stale from that album it's Klavier. Never liked that song!

But Donaukinder was in my final list as well, it came really close too. Had Wilder Wein in my final 18 cut as well. I so wanted to put WW in, but there just wasn't room.

Yeah, I'd forgotten it had a real single – had thought it was a promo/video sorta thing, but then I looked it up after I posted!

Still, it was probably their least recognized single ever. STILL HIPSTER~

I could see that being the subject. It'd be a definite change of pace considering the other songs with such stark, cryptic subject matter. The song could also be a more serious attempt at sex humor with "home sweet home, inside you," Maybe he likes his cock inside? LOL.

I always heard that when I listened to that song.

Nah I don't think so, because the lyric actually says "tumours" and as you read it he's saying how it eats you away slowly, being scared, not being prepared, all that. I'd be interested in someone asking Till in an interview how he meant for it to be interpreted.

@Conan The Barbarian - there was an interview and they expressed interest in possibly doing live dates at some point.

It's not so shocking so I doubt he'd ever get asked something about it in an interview. When you hear a song like Praise Abort, red flags go up with curiosity. I was mainly taking the piss though.

If they had show where and by me, I'd go in a heart beat. I wouldn't bet on it though.

How does one go about interviewing Till? Let's team up and do it somehow.

    Didn't buy it?

I cracked out a bunch of CDs, burned singles and other bullshit and have been converting them to my Rammstein iTunes library. After ripping the Mutter single, anyone ever listen to 5/4 and get creeped out?

Before Lindemann's Skills in Pills release, I honestly hadn't listened to Rammstein in a HUGE block in a long time. Listening to Lindemann non stop has found me listening to Rammstein in huge droves too right now. Rammstein's thread here feels like my ETS home for now haha.

    @Ryan @seasonsinthesky

Do either of you have any (or all) of the Japanese SHM-CD releases?

Are they any more "durable" than a standard CD? It's getting harder and harder to find space for my CD's around the house, so I've been moving them out to storage slowly. The storage unit is well-covered, etc., but it is not climate controlled. I've noticed that a few CD's that seemingly have nothing wrong with them no longer rip -- oxidation?

I can't seem to find any extensive information on the format; mostly just a bunch of people wanting to know how they "sound".
