    The Kills

I'm still loving the latest Kills album Blood Pressures which was released in 2011. Been a fan of theirs since the debut album.
Despite there being only two people on stage (until 2011 when they employed the services of a team of drummers for certain tracks) they make a powerful noise and have put on a great and increasingly confident show every time I have seen them.

The band are heading to the USA and have a range of tour dates in Jan/Feb including a 10th anniversary show at Terminal 5 in NYC.
Info on tour dates from http://www.thekills.tv/news/

I knew very little about them when I saw them play at Coachella. They were fantastic. Some two member bands can not carry a stage, but these two were brilliant..

i saw them at Lollapalooza '08 and laughed my ass off the whole time. they came off alarming bad to me, and seemed drunk and useless on stage in the middle of the afternoon. However, i do very much enjoy The Dead Weather.

Yes they have a good on stage chemistry, Alison's stage presence is (imo) contrived as fuck but it's good to watch.

Yeah, I think they work better in the dark, in smaller size venues, but if you don't like them then that feeling probably will not change in a hurry.
I'm not really familiar with TDW, only heard a few songs.

I'd not (yet) got into The Kills but the new single (Impossible Tracks) is AWESOME. Nearest tour stop to me is Leeds, unlikely to make it but yeah. Going to check out more stuff.

Anyone lucky to have The Kills tour stop near them, their opener "Heartworms" fucking rips.
