i was pretty psyched (though mildly concerned) about the juneuary weather we've been having on the east coast, but looks like things are getting back to normal with a new month. even still, if it blizzards from here until april, this has been a pretty enjoyable winter.

It's been the warmest winter I've can remember here. This past week has been nothing but fog, which is kind of cool today cause all the trees have a nice ice layer on them that looks pretty cool.

Yeah I can't complain in upstate either. We had some sloppy snow on I-90 down around Buffalo last weekend, but overall it has been okay. At least it is light past 5 o'clock now.

I'm going to enjoy the mild weather while it lasts. That is, until the rising sea levels kill us all.

Woke up to a few inches of snow today. First time it's covered everything in a few weeks. The forecast says it's staying in the 30's-40's through the week so I don't expect it to last this long.

For the first time this week, normal temps in the 50's. Unbelievable sting of 70-degree sunny-ish days here, felt like Spring came early. Now we're back to weather "limbo" where it's not warm, not cold. Meh.

Someone forgot to bring winter to New England. It might be frigid cold, but where's the snow? This time last year we had several feet.

We're having thundersnow! I don't think I've ever experienced it, even though this is supposedly a hot spot.

To quote a guy I met on the street in Winnipeg before I moved here... "even when it's not raining, it's still raining!"
    True that!

Last summer was nothing but rain as well, so it's not just a winter thing. it's usually pure rain from November to June and starts back up in September.

It's ridiculous, too, because our rain apparently doesn't show up well on camera, so when they were shooting X-Files here, even when it was already raining they STILL had to bring in rain-towers!!

"Vancouver has two seasons, rain and July." Ugh, too true.

Go there in August and ask that question again.

Again, someone forgot to tell New England that it's winter. No snow, no ice, no sub zero wind chill. I know we are going to be screwed in April.

Still no snow here in my part of PA. Should be mid-50s and sunny when I clock out today. Let's just say this isn't the first time I'll be firing up the grill after work this year.

Nope, we didn't even get a taste of the March heat wave that most of the middle and eastern part of the continent got about a week ago, that was sad.
Vancouver is overdue for some nice +25 degree weather!

It's been humid in the morning, usually rains in the afternoon. Some heavy rain at times but nothing too bad so far.

Northern Mass, lying down in a yoga studio, my entire body touching the wood floor. It felt like a giant worm went across the room. FREAKY.
