It must've been a mistake. I just ordered the deluxe cd + the LP and I only got the "I am Dust" download. Nevertheless, can't wait to hear this album, I am Dust and Love Hurt Bleed sounds really good.

I just bought this too -

    Limited Edition Bundle

    Price: $250.00
    'Limited Edition of 12 ONLY'
As long-time fans of Gary will know, he's not just a songwriter but an artist who always searches to present his music with some genuine flare and panache. So when it came to the new album, 'Splinter (Songs From A Broken Mind)', Gary's vision was not just a musical one, but a visual one too. From the tracks themselves to the song order, and from the photo shoot to the artwork, Gary knew what he wanted. This is your chance to own a piece of how Gary's brilliant artistic mind works with these limited edition artwork production prototype pieces that were hand-made, printed, stapled and constructed by Gary himself to demonstrate his vision to the art director of the 'Splinter' album artwork. Each piece is Signed and Numbered with availability Limited to just 12 pieces
Also includes a hand written lyric sheet from Gary himself. He has written one lyric sheet for each song on the album. The sheets will be chosen at random for the 12 orders.
This exclusive bundle includes the tee, hoodie and limited, hand-numbered and signed Gary Numan lithograph along with all three formats of Splinter - Double Vinyl, Deluxe Edition CD and Download.

Message from Gary responding to my query:

    Hi Ryan,

Thanks for getting in touch with us. No it was completely unintentional. Here's a message from Gary for you:

    Hello Ryan,

You've probably realised already that a glitch on our UK store has allowed a few copies of the entire Splinter album to be downloaded instead of just the I Am Dust song. If these files are released to the public before the official release date on October 14th it would be a disaster for me and undo so much of the seven long years it has taken me to make the album. I hope you will understand then why I would ask you to keep those files secret until October 14th. I can't make you, and I certainly don't want to try to bully or beg. It was our mistake and we will have to live with that, you have done absolutely nothing wrong. But, you can make a huge difference to the success of the album, one way or the other.

Apart from all that, I really hope you like the album.

    Bye,

    Gary Numan.

I'm not going to share mine. I feel kinda shit for Gary because it would suck to pour that much effort into something and have it leak out like it has.

I feel like I should have sent a message to the webstore or whatever sooner.

If you like "Splinter" I'm sure you'll like "Dead Son Rising", "Jagged (also Jagged Edge)" and "Pure". And for the earlier Numan I'd recommend "The Pleasure Principle", "Replicas" and "Telekon".

I bought the Deluxe CD + Hoodie. Shipping on the bigger bundles is pretty steep, and I don't really need another Numan T-shirt right now. "I Am Dust" sounds terrific!

Add to the list Hybrid which is a bunch of redone versions of songs. It's incredible, 2 disks of awesomeness. Probably check out Dead Son Rising first as it's most similar to Splinter. Jagged is an amazing album, as is Pure. Both are a lot darker than current material.

Pretty jealous of the people that got the full album download but since Gary asked you not to share, I understand that. It's just that I was disappointed to hear that it was leaked like that… Hopefully the release won't suffer from it too terribly.

I managed to get a copy of living ornaments '81 on the intenet, which arrived today. I was dying to hear his live albums in proper quality (loseless), before I can listen to a bunch of his live albums this weekend (thanks to ryan).
But the problem is, it is full of tinnitus noise throughout the album. Also I think the crowd noise is too loud, especially on intro-the wreckage. I didn't noticed this problem when I listened to them on youtube, so I'm a bit confused now. Can anyone here help me out?

Eh, that isn't as huge of a fuckup as it could've been. Now...accidentally making the link available to people who hadn't actually bought the album? That would be a different story.
