New video for Sprawl II was released today. Just like We Used To Wait, it's interactive. I really like this new version of the song laid over the Interactive video. I'd really like to see it released officially.

Love the title of this thread. I love the video, mainly because Regiene is so adorable.
I like the video too.
A band.
Suburbs and Neon Bible are their best to me. I also loved the Live EP they did with David Bowie.
Yeah Suburbs is not only their best album in my opinion, but one of the best albums of the past decade. Everyone always clings to Funeral, and as amazing as that album is, Suburbs just completely trumps it in terms of songwriting, pacing, everything. It's a flawless album, and I never get bored with it. Also, it spurred the WTFIAF meme, and that alone is worth price of admission.
The suburbs is my favorite of the three.. I know I'm in the minority too.
My favorite is Neon Bible though I do love The Suburbs and Funeral.
Just watched it, wished I could have experienced the interactive version, but I do not have a webcam on my laptop
I really think all the albums are equally great and have a defining theme between them that explains society in a sense.
Im waiting for the 4th album like a madman!
the thread title here is great, although i dont perticularly care for their music. too pretentious and douchbaggish.
well, according to Wayne Coyne they're pretentious douchebags, still i like their music a lot, they are very talented that's for sure
For me, nothing they do will ever be as good as "Funeral." Because that's fucking awesome. And sad.
Didn't he come out and say he was misquoted a bit? I feel like I remember him kinda stepping back a bit and saying that they weren't actually that bad. I remember Win being really hurt that Wayne said that because he thought it was unjust and he really liked The Flaming Lips.
According to this interview he said: "They're Pricks", so fuck em", he reckons that they have good tunes but he hates the way they treat their crew and their audience:

And then Win responded saying: "I still like the clouds taste metallic"

Its true that Win was hurt by Wayne's comment, i love both bands and i would have loved to see them tour together , now it seems it's not going to happen anytime soon, who knows what happened? maybe a misunderstanding?, maybe Wayne was angry when he said that?
I've seen Arcade Fire live 4 times now and honestly they've been extremely nice to the audience every single time. Wayne Coyne is one of my favorite people ever, but I can't accept his claims.
I saw them too, in they were great and very respectful of the audience, no complaints
I don't know why but I am so fucking addicted to Ready To Start at the moment. It's clogging up my last.fm feed and filling my speakers from every outlet on repeat. Song of the week for me, that's for sure.
September 9th bitches, let's do this!
Yeah but from what it sounds like, it's just gonna be in the single or something. They're very vauge about it, just "new music." Plus the 9th is a Monday, and albums always come out on Tuesdays. That tells me that we wont see the full length until atleast November or something. If the album does come out September 9th though, then we should be getting a single any day now. Unless they pull a Yeezus...
Looking forward to this one, and im really happy James Murphy produced this album!
Single or album, either way I'm fine. It means we get a new album. I really miss spending stacks of money on these guys.
It better come out this year! It feels weird having a new album from The National without an album from Arcade Fire to go along with it.
Win and Regine had a baby????
I'm really excited about James Murphy and the Arcade Fire wow this could be really great!

James said that the album sounded awesome recently. So I'm excited as fuck!
October 29th, it's coming!
