Hello all!
Just wrote a longread on the genesis of The Social Network soundtrack over on my blog
With The Social Network Soundtrack Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross broke free of the growing pains of Nine Inch Nails stigma – revealing an award-winning artistic duo capable of dramatic nuance, emotional depth and sonic power.

I have searched all over and I can't find this certain clip and I am sure someone on here can help. What I am looking for is the beginning of TSN that had entirely different music that was more upbeat and almost happy. It really showed how TR and AR helped changed the tone of the film. Anyone know where I can find it?
I think that one of the places it was posted was the New York Times interview with Trent, re: The Social Network...
Fair use is for pussies, apparently."TimesTalks presents ..."

Sorry about that.
Thanks for trying! Was it on the Blu-Ray or DVD? I have the dvd and none of the extras sound like anything like that. I REALLY want that clip. It proves a point for me and I need it! haha
Amazon is doing a big DVD sale right now. TSN is $1.99 on DVD and $7.99 for Blu-ray, both the two-disc collector's version.
Edit: And TGWTDT is $4 DVD and $14.99 for the three-disc Blu-ray.

The piano work in Carbon Prevails is BRILLIANT.
Tonight on Channel 7 in Australia, the tv show "The Block" used Hand Covers Bruise from The Social Network score. Random!
Random question: Does anyone own the Blu ray of the soundtrack offered on the website? Just curious if the artwork/packaging is any different.
I seriously listen to the score once a day in the car and really wanna buy the blu ray of the score.
EDIT: Disregard.

For Your Consideration is up on ebay again! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Social-Netwo...item3f243d03bd
Some of these tracks are my most listened-to songs on iTunes.
Also, two tracks were used in episode 488 of the podcast 'This American Life.'

I'm interested. How much would you want for it?
I too am interested! Forget that other guy!
"Painted Sun in Abstract" featured in episode #495 of podcast "This American Life." I'm starting to notice how the producers really like Trent.
I am looking to buy a SEALED copy of the Social Network soundtrack blu ray. PM me.
This is all kinds of weird, but I kinda like it
Is the TSN 5 track sampler not available to download anymore? I tried to submit my e-mail today for the download link, but it kept telling me there was a problem and it didn't work.
Works just fine on my end; Windows 7/Google Chrome.
TRY THIS
Actually, it does.
"The album was released digitally on September 28, exclusively on Amazon.com, and was made available in three physical formats: CD, Blu-Ray audio and Vinyl, released on October 11, 18 and 25 respectively."
