    Dead Souls 2018

I think it's time to start a new Dead Souls thread since there was an excessive amount of unfortunate deaths in 2016 and some really bad ones (except for Charles Manson) last year.

With that said, here's an unfortunate start in Jerry Van Dyke at age 86: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/01/06/o...dyke-dead.html

Not just saying this because I started the other thread, but maybe doing a yearly thread like this could make this section seem a bit gloomy over time.

That's way too young to die. Apparently, she died suddenly (TMZ). That's the only info I could find.

I will not be at all surprised when it comes to light that whatever medications she was on to treat her severe back pain issues the last couple years played a role in her death. 46 is much too young. The Cranberries had to cancel most of their world tour last year because of that, but just last month she posted on FB that she was finally feeling better and did her first gig in some time at in industry event in NYC. Meh. RIP indeed

I'm shocked. They were a good band. I always liked her voice. Fuck... this is like my teenage years being stripped away.

I have been taking a lot of medications for my back pain too. This was a wakeup call for me to tone it down. I didn't know her and I never met her, but she seemed like a sweet person.
