Did you know Not the Actual Events was the first part of a trilogy of related EPs that will be released about 6-8 months apart?

So according to that, it could be as late as March since AV was released in July. I hope it's not that long.

I'd say we're in "soon territory", as opposed to "'soon' limbo". The former means exactly what it means, whereas the latter, especially when spoken by Reznor, could mean any time within the next decade or not at all.
We're getting the new EP before April 2018, that's not "soon", that's soon.
We're getting the 5.1 mix of The Fragile in the next ten years, or not at all, that's "soon".

We are within that time-frame and will be until the end of March. But yeah, I'm fine with them taking their time and making sure it's great before unleashing it on a world that more often than not judges new music quickly and harshly.

Trent said something about possibly taking on another soundtrack gig, which would push the EP back some (a long some most likely). Has anyone heard any whisperings of an upcoming soundtrack? If not, it's a good sign that "soon" might really be soon. (I was thinking February but now I'm thinking March).

Yeah that band is full of liars and their album will probably be lame when it comes out in 2020. And vampire week sucks beyond belief. So fuck those other bands, go to the shitty music thread for that. Lets get off on ep 3. That's what gets me hard.
