I didn't pick up NTAE, but I just ordered AV on vinyl from Amazon, making this the first new NIN release I've bought since 2002. "The Background World" is so good, and "This Isn't The Place" is wonderful. Long live Atticus-NIN.

Also, judging from the (very pixelated) vinyl scans, the lyrics don't appear to be wrapped in pseudocode (judging by the line breaks). I wonder why they'd drop that conceit.

I feel like “This Isn’t the Place” is incredibly overlooked on this EP. I know I was guilty of that at first.

This Isn't The Place is my favorite track on this EP. Cannot neglect this song.

For my money, This Isn’t The Place isn’t just one of the better tracks off the EP, it’s one of the better tracks to come from nin, ever. That layered vocal buildup is haunting and trance inducing. I can only hope that someday Peter Murphy gets back with Trent and Atticus and together they do like a soul crushing 15 minute live crooner of this track.

Just got mine delivered from Amazon in perfect condition, and it sounds gooooooood. Only minor criticisms: Paper sleeve only this time around. No biggie - I have plenty of poly sleeves to spare - just weird that it's different than NTAE in this regard. And no download code? If I didn't already have the files, I'd be bummed. Ordering from nin.com wins in that regard. I was getting a nice collection of those little cards going, but alas, I'm good with what I got. The artwork is good, the sound is great, what else do I need?

NtAE didn't even have the same lyrics from one version to the next. The added lyrics to B/B on the vinyl are completely different. I think the code wasn't there because the owners manual for the machine wasn't. It wouldn't have made sense.

Wow, I don't think I've personally seen anyone post a picture on here as proof along with their request for a digital copy! Kudos for covering your bases, haha. I wish I could hook you up with a FLAC copy, but I'm waiting to buy another copy in FLAC later. Good luck!

I saw AV on CD at Barnes and Noble. I haven't bought a CD in I don't know how long but I was really impressed with the release so I snagged it. They also had the TF and TDS reissues.

ADD VIOLENCE is already working as an EP in my mind, I sing in kitchen "DID IT FIX WHAT WAS WRONG WITH YOU??" and then later I find myself screaming (silently) "NOT ANYMOOOORE!!", beautiful. ;-) Anyway, just ordered vinyl in my local store to pick up in person, 18,99 €. NTAE is for 31,99 € so I just asked if they are sure about that price.

So I ordered the AV vinyl with t-shirt and the 2017 Tour poster on Thursday right after NIN Twitter account made the store announcement. Hopefully early enough that I get the slip mat. Anyway I received the Tour Poster, perfect condition BTW, but have not yet received the record. Has anyone received the AV vinyl from nin.com but without the slip mat? I'm tryin' to estimate if my order was early enough that I would be getting the slip mat or if I missed out. Thanks.
