Uh, huh, huh, huh...Beavis and butthead

Their return was much better than I expected it to be. I was also a huge fan of them in the 1990s anyway. It's rather hilarious to see them critique and mock MTV's reality shows as well as their typical commentaries on music videos. I certainly hope Beavis and Butt-Head lasts this time around. It's just great to see that Mike Judge finally brought it back to life.

So happy to have them back, and for the most part, it's as if they never left. The show is almost exactly the same. The only thing I don't love is the reality show clips. It was a funny idea at first but now I just get annoyed when they show a show rather than a video. It's really just coming off as shameless cross-promotion for MTV.

A highlight of my childhood and a classic show. I've been watching the Mike Judge collections and still think it's hilarious. I just recently watched the revival series and thought it was great--maybe the best written episodes of the series.

I would love another series and the complete original run, uncut.

Years and years ago, some wonderful soul named KingTurd archived every episode with all music videos - in mostly good quality - and shoved it up online. It needs to be watched that way, the episodes alone are just not enough. They're the buns to the meat.

Huge part of my childhood. We used to go down to my grandma's place in Cape Cod, Massachussets and I'd just binge-watch MTV while adults did adult stuff. I don't know how many bands in high school and early college I discovered, then realizing upon hearing X or Y song that, yep, I remembered B&B watching it. Huh huh huh....Tool.

These guys turned me onto White Zombie, like legions of kids in the 90s. The B&B Experience album is mandatory listening:

I loved that show back in the day. It introduced me to all kinds of new music and that was the first time I discovered my beloved NIN. Thanks Beavis.

Never get full, uncut episodes from the seasons due to copyright and royalties.

Anyone here love the movie also?!

Liked the show back in the day...

Today i like half of the show, their main adventures are kind of "meh"; but the segments where they watch videos are brilliant, i think they were the best music critics of our generation, lol

    Some favs:

Combining my two favorite things Seinfeld and the Clash, I had no idea Jerry was in the Clash before he got his show.

The movie is by far one of the best show to movie adaptations to ever hit the big screen. Thankfully, my mother was cool enough to bring me to go see it when I was only 10 . Still holds up to this day, however... I never had a chance to watch the newer episodes. Are they any good?

I just watched the 2011-2012 season for the first time. Pretty much the same show, with maybe slightly better animation, generally longer stories (by a few minutes, with some two-parters), with all contemporary videos, i.e., Katy Perry, with additional commentary on those MTV reality shows. I actually thought, overall, these were some of the best episodes to date.

It's a shame that the B&B revival didn't continue, but it's also sad that they don't come up with edgy-ish original programming anymore. Does MTV really make more money as a low-grade reality show generator than as a tastemaker for music and alternative culture?

Even if they can't use all the videos, due to copyrights, all of the episodes on DVD would be great. On the Mike Judge Collection, each set had a bonus DVD, with some cool content, but I would have rather they just issued the remaining episodes, about a third in total, instead.

I was aware of the show when it was on but never watched it. Bought the complete series for 15 bucks. Good shit. Give Daria a Van Halen shirt, make her less smart, and that's basically me when I was in high school.
