What I love about John Bonham was that he had a club foot for the kick and Ilan has that same power with his kick. I like Freese but there is something about a kick drum that you can feel in your chest.

This, right here. Jerome was such an amazing drummer and his performance of "The Wretched" on AATCHB still gives me chills....

So you got all of the names of the band members, ok. Then at the bottom you've got the date of the Panorama show, check. What could the L. A...... and F. Y....F. mean??

Oh shit, I thought that was the date of the NY show. Damn, so NY won't be the first show anymore? I'm disappointed.

Well, happy with the lineup yet it was to be expected. I'm still sad to see Eustis not "needed" in the band anymore. Really liked what he did and his stage presence.

As long as it's Alessandro and Robin, I am fine with whomever they tour with. And of course it's Trent who I want to see.

So now here's me hoping for a really nice set or at least 2 or 3 surprises and some European dates for next year!

Am I not the only person not feeling Cortini on Bass full time?

Robin thank god. Wasn't too worried about him not being there, but you never know.

I don't think Alessandro will be playing bass full time. There are a few songs where it probably makes sense (Piggy, Head Like A Hole, etc.) but I think they will mix it up quite a bit. Especially with the more electronic-heavy songs I am betting that Ilan will take on additional bass/guitar duties and Alessandro & Atticus will go for synthies.

i'm sure atticus often played bass in 12 rounds. so no worries. bass samples also can be played with a synth/keyboard...
dream line up for sure. excellent musicians

who's that guy with the bass?

The bass thing has me worried. I wish TR would just call up JMJ to rip it up with them again. He was, by far, the best live bass player in NIN. Pino's great, but boring and over played most songs...and don't let the nostalgia-factor inflate the talents of Lohner...he wasn't that great.

And speaking of the nostalgia-factor, someone on facebook said TR should get Chris Vrenna to play drums! Hahahahaha!! Sorry, random facebook poster, but Ilan is 100% better.

Someone didn't do their homework! HLAH didn't ever have live bass guitar before or after Pino/Tension.

Anyway, who played bass on HTDA tour? Too lazy to check footage

About the bass thing I'll just leave this thing here

So I don't see Alessandro playing bass full time, but this time I can see Ilan playing drums all the time, both Cortini and Ross could play those piano chords in March Of The Pigs for example.

Oh shit, shame on me. I just remembered that Alessandro was NOT standing at the synths back in 2014 when that song came on.

I like the fact that both Cortini and Ross are part of the 2017 lineup. I agree that it will be great with the songs that are heavier on the programming side.

Hey .. maybe this is what it takes to get them to play The Perfect Drug. Maybe they'll solve that "how do we end this song" dilemma.

atticus played bass, i believe, for any songs that called for actual electric bass. so i'm assuming that's what he'll be doing on this tour.

After watching this, consider me excited to see a full show with Atticus up there. He seems to have a solid stage presence and crazy cool skills. I'm in.

Given the gritty ink caked physical component, it would be awesome if the band played shows like this:

Soot, it's the new mud... Makes sense.

    He's going back...
    Of course he is.
As if he ever had a choice..
Back to what he always knew he was...
    On the inside.
Back to what he really is.

The mud was pretty situationally awesome. I feel like deliberately playing multiple shows caked in inky black makeup is probably not the best idea unless the set is following a Not the Actual Amos 'n' Andy theme...

They'll just open a bunch of physical component packages onto themselves onstage to keep the dirt relevant

don't hate on me pls but I'd love to see Jeordie White back on bass. I know he's playing with MM this year, but a guy can dream, eh

Personally, I'd rather see Danny Lohner make a return than Jeordie, but that's mostly for nostalgia reasons. My dream lineup would be TR, Robin (always), Danny, Alessandro, & Josh Freese.
