NIN Spotting 2017

I don't know if anyone's ever spotted this before but i just did and I've played this game billions of times.

It's an FPS called Sin released in 1998 on the id Tech 2 or Quake 2 engine, developed by Ritual Entertainment and published by Activision.

While playing i noticed a bulletin board with the words "she has the blood of reptile underneath her skin", which seems to me like an obvious reference to Reptile, part of the word "underneath" and "her" (i would assume) is hidden by another image. The only word that actually seems to be missing is "just" but that's a forgivable mistake if it indeed is meant to be a nod to NIN. If not I have no idea what else it could be.

Regarding Trent's accusation of Cornell doing a sellout move with Scream, I found this part of a recent article about him really interesting:

Yeah well master tapes were found a long time ago now, and TR still love ACS. MM is still clearly highly on dope, more and more. Did you just used 2005 pictures ?

Spotting isn't the place for this discussion, but there have been many instances even since then of the two both bashing each other, even in an interview of Manson after Jordie's stint with NIN. It's been a thing.

NIN was mentioned by JackSepticeye (one of the more popular YouTube gamers, 15m subs) . Not exactly sure what the game he's playing is about, but some character had a pixelated cover of Year Zero for an avatar and Survivalism is mentioned briefly.

Just wanted to say that i verified that it is indeed a NIN reference in case there was any doubt.

I contacted a level designer who worked on the game, just ignore the other part of his comment.. lol
