While playing i noticed a bulletin board with the words "she has the blood of reptile underneath her skin", which seems to me like an obvious reference to Reptile, part of the word "underneath" and "her" (i would assume) is hidden by another image. The only word that actually seems to be missing is "just" but that's a forgivable mistake if it indeed is meant to be a nod to NIN. If not I have no idea what else it could be.

Regarding Trent's accusation of Cornell doing a sellout move with Scream, I found this part of a recent article about him really interesting:

Internet response to his teaming with hip-hop producer Timbaland was harsh. People assumed that he was trying to regain relevance, hoping to cash in on the beatmaker’s popularity. They were wrong.

Cornell made Scream for the experience. “I wanted to sort of rinse myself of any of the knowledge that I have or that I rely on to write and record albums,” he told me. “I wanted to basically go in ignorant, like being thrown into the deep end of the pool not knowing how to swim.” Judged solely on the record’s sound, Cornell got his wish. And he didn’t care that many of his fans were mystified. Didn’t begrudge other prominent artists who slammed him for the collaboration. Didn’t indulge the haters. Instead, he stayed positive in his social-media posts, and enthusiastically toured to support the record.

I just found out that Craig Ferguson has a podcast, then I found out that he recently had Bill Burr on (two of my absolute favorite comedians, listening to it ) and then I stumbled upon Craig's Twitter account only to find this tweet:

Happy Birthday to @bobsaget @trent_reznor @official_enya and Gratulerer med dagen @NorwayUS
    Apparently it's also Craig's birthday.

Spotting isn't the place for this discussion, but there have been many instances even since then of the two both bashing each other, even in an interview of Manson after Jordie's stint with NIN. It's been a thing.

NIN was mentioned by JackSepticeye (one of the more popular YouTube gamers, 15m subs) . Not exactly sure what the game he's playing is about, but some character had a pixelated cover of Year Zero for an avatar and Survivalism is mentioned briefly.

Just wanted to say that i verified that it is indeed a NIN reference in case there was any doubt.

I contacted a level designer who worked on the game, just ignore the other part of his comment.. lol

TR & Flood's "Screaming Bird" remix of the song "Missing Link" by Curve is included on their upcoming deluxe reissue of Cuckoo.

Here's a reminder of what that sounded like:

I see that this was briefly discussed in her own thread on here that died last year, but that would have been missed by most.

This rips off elements from Somewhat Damaged in very obvious ways. Her song Viciousness rips off elements of Discipline as well.

    ...Slow news cycle.

While this is pretty shitty for an artist to do, it should probably be pointed out that Trent took 'inspiration' from Resident Evil's 'Plant 42' boss fight:
