    Dream NIN Lineup for 2016

I rarely start threads but since The Rez is coming out of hibernation in 2k16 and most likely will be touring, I'm curious to what the lineup will be this time around....so kiddies, post your dream lineup of 2016 Nine Inch Nails, whether its former members or people who have yet to play with NIN
    Mine is:

    Vocals: teitan aka Trent Reznor
    Bass: Danny Lohner
    Drums: Chris Vrenna
Guitar: Richard Patrick (hes a political whack job and I cant stand Filter but ol Richie def brought intensity to NIN and would be sick having him back in the fold
    Synths: Alan Wilder
2nd guitar: Wes Borland (dude is a great guitar player and deserves to get away from the plague that is Limp Bizkit)

    Drums: Josh Freese
    Keys: Alessandro Cortini
    Bass: Pino Paladino
    Guitar: Robin Finck
    Second Guitar: Aaron North

Robin has been playing guitar at most of the NIN shows i've been to, so i've gotten used to him.
Aaron North is just fucking insane and fun to watch.
Ally i've gotten used to as well.
Josh is the best drummer for hire that i know of.
And having Pino (or someone of similar talent) on bass brings a LOT to NIN.

I'd also like to see backup singers, extra musicians, or anything OUT of the ordinary. I love seeing songs re-imagined.

Edit: and Trent Reznor. I've always thought he was an integral part of the band, even on the albums.

Would love to see Mariqueen in the band. Singing backups and playing percussion and synths. Mix a few destroy angels songs within the set . Josh freese back on drums. Love Robin on guitar and alehan on synths. Pino was fantastic on bass. More Trent on guitar. This would be great.

Trent, Robin, and anyone else Trent wants. Honestly, as long as he is able to keep Robin touring with him, he could have anyone else he wants to play and I would be happy. I have yet to be disappointed by drummer/keys/synth players he's gotten, and Jordie was the only boring bassist I've seen. Nothing against Aaron, but Robin is THE guitarist for touring as far as I'm concerned.
I would love to see Josh back, because he was entertaining to watch on stage and off.
What would be awesome is Josh on drums and Ilan on keys and second guitar, leaving room for some epic 2-drummer variations of songs. Ally on synth and live manipulation like the YZ section of the LITS tour. Robin on guitar and only guitar, he should not be constrained to standing behind a synth hitting 3 keys. The man needs flailing and jumping room. Pino on bass was amazing.
Oh, and Rob back on Canon (5D mark iv?) duty.

    TR: Swiss Army knife
    drums: Josh Freese
Danny Lohner: bass and other things
Alessandro: synths and stuff, and pizza maker

having a hard time with guitarist #1. Out of the former NIN guitarists Aaron North would be the easy choice but that seems impossible. Robin seems to have a different style than he once had and there's some songs that I think he's pretty bad at (Only, The Big Comedown, Somewhat Damaged). I think I'll get sick to my stomach if I click on NIN's wiki page and see Limp Bizkit as an "associated act". Dunno, almost Robin by default but would like someone similar to What Aaron did 10 years ago- youthful and energetic.

No back up singers please. Not against Tension- they did well- but "meh".

Whatever, I just hope the recent announcement does include a tour this year. There's yet to be such a thing as a bad NIN tour. ::fingers crossed::

    OK...

    Trent Reznor: Vocals/guitars/bass/keyboards
    Robin Finck: Guitar/keyboards/backing vocals
    Danny Lohner: Bass/guitars/keyboards/backing vocals
    Alessandro Cortini: Keyboards/bass/guitars/backing vocals
    Aaron North: Guitar/backing vocals
    Charlie Clouser: Keyboards/theremin/backing vocals
    Ilan Rubin: Drums/keyboards/guitars
    Josh Freese: Drums
    Brian Viglione: Drums

A three-drum NIN line-up with 2 keyboards, 2 guitars, a bass, and Trent. A sound that is heavier and more full. Kinda like what King Crimson is doing recently.

I like the current mix of Trent, Alessandro, Robin, and Ilan. I wouldn't mind it if some other members came back, but I'd rather see some fresh blood.

    Ditto!
As much as I love Danny Lohner, Pino added a new layer and brought a funkiness to the tunes... he's just a much more versatile player.
I would also like those two female vocalists back, they also added a new layer to the tracks live.

Pantera and NIN were friends as Phil did vocals for The Great Southern Trendkill at Nothing Studios.

Somebody around here was talkin something about new nin being more hip-hop. So it’s likely we’ll be seeing Rick Ross in this lineup.

Suggestion for bass guitar: Gail Ann Dorsey (and let her also replace Lisa/Sharlotte to some extent)

Not Lisa (because she's irreplaceable), but I could totally see Gail covering both Pino and Sharlotte's parts if they wanted to re-use the Tension arrangements.

I hope the backup singers never, ever, ever happen again. That was a horrible nightmare I never want to relive again.
