PSA: Nobody knows what the "physical component" of the non-vinyl EP option is. It's clearly very specific wording and the picture for that item is a featureless black rectangle. I think it's safe to say it's meant to be a surprise.

It is only an EP. The options available are
A) a $20 180 gram vinyl LP
B) a $12 "physical component." No further explanation for what the second option is.

Typically I find it a little annoying when new music is released and people immediately start talking about, "Oh, X of this aspect reminds me of this other NIN record!" but I am immediately reminded by the cover art of the new EP of the very physical type writer like aesthetic we saw with what would have been Bleed Through. I thoroughly enjoyed that style then and I'm happy to see something similiar.
Edit: Just realized the cover aesthetic is basically exactly what it was for AATCHB and specifically Still, at least in terms of the text. Very interesting. I wonder why they made that choice.

ok. An EP. If this was a release by any other band. I would be pissed. But this is the guy that gave birth to Broken. And when he says this shit is weird, that makes me hard. My body is ready.
I think the most interesting part is the fact that Atticus is now officially a member of NIN.
I'm really looking forward to whatever direction they take NIN together.
