Sketch Comedy

This thread might be short lived since I think sketch comedy isn't popular anymore, but this could be good for the archives.

I am a HUGE fan of sketch comedy.

• MAD TV
• Saturday Night Live
• Kids In The Hall
• Monty Python
• etc...

There do not seem to be as many sketch comedies anymore and it's a shame. 'Kids in the Hall' was a Canadian show produced by Lorne Michaels. IMO it's the best sketch comedy ever!

SNL today is way too political, I want to get away from news, politics and daily issues...

MAD TV was great. They, unlike SNL, didn't focus on politics or the news and really let you forget about daily bullshit. I really want that show to come back.

Chapelle Show was fucking amazing....

Are there any new sketch comedies being produced and aired? Any recommendations?

Sketch comedy is great. My personal favorite shows would be The State, Mr. Show, and Key & Peele.
