You know what, you're right! I've got a lot of music in my wishlist, Before the Flood can go to the bottom of that list.

For some reasons BTF isn't 24bit here as it never been on the big european nin.com fuck-up (only us gave 24bit)
Edit: Ok, so this is a massive fuck up as 7digital does the same

Exactly. I do feel put out by there being no CD option. Other than shows, that's how I choose to support artists. Not $45 LPs.

That's pretty much my point. Why put out a CD when it's available right away as a digital download that's the same quality as a CD would be (or even better)? By the way, I'm speaking as someone who still buys and enjoys physical media, so I'm not saying "Down with CDs!", but I can understand why the decision has been made to not release a CD version.

I have a complete collection of NINverse releases on CD; it's my preferred format, and of all the options available to me now, I certainly won't pivot to LPs.

And I do love the digital downloads—I have a massive Google Play library—but the file type provided requires conversion (which can cause issues with gapless playback) if I want to put it to CD, which is almost exclusively how I listen in the car (which in LA, I'm always in mah car, damn it). Hi-res downloads offer me zero benefits, and cause a few headaches I don't want to deal with.

I was buying my vinyl at nin.com a few at a time as my budget was permitting, I missed Before The Flood and Gone Girl before they sold out. I just bought them at amazon, with free two day shipping it says they are going to be here on 04/23/17.

I ordered mine from NIN.com back in October. I'll be lucky to get it by next month...

Seeing that people have theirs already is making me deeply regret having preordered mine from NIN.com back in October...

should have waited and just bought this... Based on all the firebrand stories I've heard I'll be lucky if mine arrives in one piece... if it ships at all...

I ordered it on amazon yesterday and I got it today, even after the mailman delivered to the wrong house. Strangely enough, I ordered Gone Girl vinyl with Before The Flood, and Gone Girl is delayed until Monday. It was supposed to be 2 day shipping. One showed up a day early and I guess the other is going to show up a day late.

Thinking I should have just ordered it on Amazon. I never even received an email from bandstore saying it shipped.

For a change the Europeans did well - it was pressed in the EU and they shipped from here, so everyone on the EU nin store seems to get everything. That balances a decade of being fucked on customs with everything I guess
