ok, so here i am weeping and singing through purple rain. wasn't expecting that when it started playing on the radio. :'(
7th grade, slow dancing with michael q., in the gym.
i thought bowie dying caused unexpected grief (honestly surprised by how much it hurt), but this is just so sad. and weird.
r.i.p. you marvellous, beautiful, magical mofo.

I think 20Ten is a very underrated album and there's one hell of an album hidden in those three discs of Emancipation. My single disc variation goes as follows:
1. Jam of the Year
2. Right back here in my arms
3. One kiss at a time
4. We gets up
5. Joint 2 Joint
6. I can't make U love me
7. 2 morrow
8. Sleep Around
9. Dreamin' About U
10. Get Ur groove on
11. Emale
12. New World
13. The Holy river
14. The love we make
15. In this bed I scream
16. Emancipation
This sequence is up there with his best from the 80s imo...
