i saw beck a million years ago (sea change tour) and he did a fun cover of 'erotic city'
cant find it though
i find it sorta creepy that alot of his songs on youtube, even months ago aren't what they are titled to be. and in the comments people are like "wtf this isn't prince..." just saying. no specs, just creeps.

For those struggling to find a way to listen to his music, it may not be ideal but the streaming service Tidal has pretty much the vast majority of his catalog that's publicly available and you can get free trials for it (there's a 90-day one where you don't have to give any payment info which is pretty sweet).
@elevenism since you expressed your love for the Batman soundtrack elsewhere I felt like you'd get a kick out of knowing that Batdance was played up loud in my house last night; that was also my intro to Prince as a huge Batman fan as a kid and it all happened from thereon for me.

I even went so far as to subconsciously steal a lyric from it for a song i recorded in the late 90's. The chorus to my song says "I'm yours as your mine/we transcend space and time."

By the way it is so easy to overlook since it's such an obvious hit that it almost feels pointless in saying it but good fucking god, Kiss is just about the best pop song ever. And he almost gave the fucker away! Such a sexy, powerful, straightforward killer of a track. So many of his best songs were sophisticated in their simplicity.
Also Jesus Christ, @october_midnight , that performance is just so incredible. His face during that solo is just unbelievable. Thanks for that link.
