Talk about all things BTTF.
No matter how many times I see the original, it never gets old. Second film was decent and the third is underrated, imo.
The scene where George punches Biff still gives me goosebumps, it's so awesome.

i hope they never remake this trilogy, it's perfect as it is.
Lone. Pine. Mall.
Speaking of pine trees,
why don't you make like a tree... and get out of here.
My local art museum is "recreating" the mall parking lot and doing an outdoor screening of the first two movies on October 21st. Should be awesome.
Yup. Universal has the rights to the movie/story but Zemeckis and Gale have the rights to the characters and they've both said they'll give permission for those characters to be used over their dead body. So if Universal wanted to do a remake they couldn't use any of the characters from the original trilogy. Which is comforting to me because even if they tried at least I wouldn't have to see anyone else as Doc or Marty.
Anyway, where has this thread been all my life?!! BTTF is my favorite movie of all time, has been since I was 6 years old. To say I adore it would be an understatement. There are only two movies that I have seen so much and know so well that I could almost quote them word for word beginning to end: "Back to the Future" and "Pulp Fiction." Anyone that knows me knows my absolute obsession with the first film (and the trilogy, for that matter). It's still magical to me. The original is just an absolute perfect movie. Period. And I have never seen a movie that even came close.
Now I'm just blabbing but I have to say my favorite line from the movie is definitely (obviously), "When this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you're going to see some serious shit." But a close second and I mean a REALLY close second is, "Who you callin' spooks, peckerwood?" Cracks me up every single time I hear it.
Anyone else planning on going to the Secret Cinema thing in California? They announced it last year and said they would be doing it sometime this year but still haven't officially announced a date. Also, I believe Universal is doing an official like 5 day festival thing next month. I wanted to go but tickets to the whole thing were like 700 bucks. Too rich for my blood. Single day tickets were like a hundred so maybe I'll just pick a day.

Second film is my favorite actually.
"It's LEAVE! Make like a tree and LEAVE! You sound like a damn fool when you say it wrong!"
Thought it was worth sharing...
While the second film is flawed, it is still a fun film. It's amazing that all three films still hold up. If I ever have children, this is one of the first films I hope to show them.
I saw the first one in theater the year of its release. Of course I love this movie. Marty goes back to November 5, 1955. That's enough for me to love this movie forever.
No offense but.... Pepsi is for pussies.
They only used Pepsi because the logo changed from '55 to '85. Coke has used the same one this whole time. Same for Texaco and a few other companies depicted in the first film.
I'd like to go back to 1985 for some NEW COKE.
So, I'm as big a fan of this trilogy as anyone; I still aspire to grow up to be a cross between Marty McFly and Ferris Bueller.
That being said, this is a funny take on the films:
Also, good to see it all came true!
Living in a small texas town where they dont sell USA Today bums me out. Is what I thought I would ever say.
Some random thoughts:
1. I really want to see the BTTF with Eric Stoltz, just the raw footage would be awesome.
2. The cartoon isn't that great.
3. Thomas Wilson fucking rules, can really act and should be in more movies.
I'd actually like that. It will be awful, but it won't change my love for the originals and I'll have a new "what were they thinking" movie to watch.
LOVED the originals but have NO INTEREST WHATSOEVER for a reboot or new sequel.
