    Creed III

Nothing to do with Scott Stapp:

I am a huge fan of the Rocky movies, and this new film 'Creed' (AKA Rocky VII) looks very promising. I like the premise, an older Rocky helps train the son of his former rival and friend, Apollo Creed: Out this Fall.

Just here to make a Scott Stapp joke. I see that's under control, carry on.

Saw this last week and it's great. It was the best movie in the franchise, outside of the original, imho.

I thought they were really pushing it with Rocky VI, and they were lucky that it was actually as good as it was. Creed is a better film, just awesome. Love the premise, new characters, direction it takes the franchise and all while still feeling like a Rocky film.

Saw Creed II tonight--fun film. This was a sequel to Creed, but also Rocky IV. Ivan Drago turns out to be a surprisingly sympathetic character. The scene where Rocky and Drago meet at the diner after 30-odd years gave me goosebumps.

I saw it last night. Thought it was pretty good movie. I did fall asleep for a bit but that's what I do. Nothing against the film. As a review i read said, "If you liked the first one you'll like this one."

Creed III is out this Friday. I seldom go to the movies but I want to see this. Stallone is not in this film, but that might not be a bad thing. I think that Michael B. Jordan should be given the limelight away from Sly, and Tessa Thompson and Phylicia Rashad are a strong supporting cast.

Saw Creed III tonight--very predictable but a lot of fun. If you liked the Rocky and Creed films, you will like this.

If I loved the first Creed but hated II, will I like this one?

What didn't you like about the second movie? I'd rank them all about equally.

I'm looking forward to this one but the second movie falls into gat really frustrating trope of the whole movie being about whether the fights going to happen, when the fight is the one thing that we as the audience are absolutely sure will happen.

You can predict how the entire movie will unfold by watching the preview. It is very predictable. But it's a lot of fun, with great performances and heart.

It's been awhile, just felt generic to me I think.
