There used to be a "???" tab which just directs back to the homepage now. The page was empty except for a password field. I remember it being there for months, if not a year, but only got the one song out of it after an email clue.

As an only child, much of my personality and development was shaped by the struggle between how to follow my natural instincts toward autonomy, and guilt over not fitting in or doing what was expected of me. I struggled with being completely certain of who I was on the one hand, and trying to live up to external expectations on the other. I also loved and craved the freedom, safety, and reliability of being alone, but still wanted to be on a team. Eventually, I developed an attitude that at times bordered on near-pointless defiance, never wanting any help, but I also honed an ability to achieve pinpoint focus and intent, with a concurrent and nearly complete inability to follow protocol when it didn’t make innate sense, or feel right to or for me.

I just bought tickets to see them in Hamburg in October. Really cool that they are coming so close to where I live.

It will be my first time seeing them so that's great too. They are quite high on my list of favourite bands I haven't yet seen right now.

Yeah, it seems weird that there's enough interest in Europe to do a full tour, more dates that NIN did this summer I think, but not do half as many shows in the US.

Yeah. I asked greg in november 2016 after the Dillinger show in Dallas (he also sang the chorus of Down in it to me, funny interaction), and he said "next year." I think Dillinger's bus crash and alll of those shows being rescheduled might have had something to do with it. Oh well. At least now we will have two albums worth of material when they inevitably do a US tour.

they haven't, yet, but that's because greg always had commitments with dillinger. now that they're no longer a band, i'm guessing (hoping, for other people) they'll do an actual tour next year after their overseas dates.

i'm excited to see them next month but whooo boy i really don't want to be at cold waves all day (and see my old band play without me :/ )

- Mostly the difference between working in/writing for TBQ vs. TDEP vs. KBK
- Talking about the vinyl boom and Greg's love for the physical product/talking with pressing plants, coming up with the variants
- Vinyl is great but the best audio and "closest to what you hear in the studio is a CD..."
- Discusses why they limit the physical releases (basically they find it more valuable because the labels want bands to sell thousands and they want to just make cool stuff and not worry about the number sold)
- Possible easter eggs with the Infinite Games releases...
- Greg owns the very first pressing of Soundgarden's Screaming Life on orange vinyl that he bought in a jazz record shop
- Greg and Nate discuss how Disk Union in Japan have crazy rare vinyl for sale
- The LA/NYC/Chicago shows are "WARM UP SHOWS" (take what you want from that...)
- Before the Australia dates...the band will be going back into the studio to record new songs
- 2019 is penciled in.
- Greg is releasing some things in 2019 that he can't talk about
- Greg wants to do the opposite of TDEP - TDEP would tour for 2 years before the next release and he now wants to focus on the releases and recording aspect
- Haven't decided if they are going to release a single or anything before Sept 28
- The 1000 standard black vinyl are basically gone

So hyped for Infinite Games. At this point, I would prefer to not have a single. While if they release one, i will listen to it, i kind of would love to go into this album with zero previews.

Thanks for posting this, I wasn't sure if it would surface outside of the XM paywall. Nice to hear more about the band and process from Steve. It seemed like Josh and Greg did most of the press around Fever Daydream's release.
