I tried to recreate the swarm guitar from "Complication With Optimistic Outcome". No YouTube/Soundcloud yet as I'm not 100% done but I uploaded a snippet to Instagram.

To be quite honest, I'm pretty satisfied with the result!

i actually used a very similar drum part to the main pattern in a song i made a few years ago. but i didn't play it as well or as fancy as grohl because, well, i'm not as good of a drummer haha

Goddamnit i can't figure out how to comment on soundcloud.

But what i meant to say is "this is lovely!"
Good work, man. I will listen to this again.

    Are you a pianist?

And if so, would you like to try making some music together?

Thanks very much! And I wouldn't call myself a pianist by a longshot. I fuck around and make noises. Probably the best way to describe it...
I'm working on releasing...something at some point, but nothing solid.

I was thinking that, but I doubt any of those kids are ETS members.

I've also thought about that as well before, but this thread seems to have been the go-to thread for NIN covers in general now. Perhaps it would be better off renamed "Nine Inch Nails Covers" this time around. And with this being an Internet forum nonetheless, it has also occurred to me since this thread came to be, especially with YouTube being a thing and all.

Either way, I've certainly been enjoying sharing my finds as well as other people's finds/creations here as well.

And to keep it going, I was in the mood to hear some covers of Every Day Is Exactly The Same and came across these.

This might be of interest to some here, especially if you're into ambient and the like. Personal remixes of those little solo piano pieces from the 1999 Fragility v1.0 Europe special broadcast on MTV way back.

An add on to that last post, I remixed that promotional performance of "Gone, Still" Trent and Jerome did back in '02. If you're interested, please feel free to give it a listen and download:

On a cover kick apparently. I know I've seen this one before, could have sworn I saw in on here. But fantastic cover of The Becoming, video is pretty stellar too.

@Dryalex12 - I just thought that I'd help you out here. Anyway, it was certainly nice to see you cover one of my most favorite songs from The Fragile.

Yeah i only used 4 things. My mandolin, steel string acc, my electric guitar and a cheap keyboard. I think i overdubbed the stringed instruments like 5 times

Hey guys. I recently did 2 quick covers of NTAE and AV (even redid the album-art).
Mainly done by recording myself playing along and then rearranging it into a full cover. So it's nowhere near studio-quality. But I had fun making them so I figured I'd post them here.

An incredibly accurate Guitar Pro tab for Less Than.

For those who don't own Guitar Pro (like me), I recommend the freeware and cross-platform alternative TuxGuitar.
