I recently downloaded the entire series! I think Mike was a better host, but the movies Joel did were way better (well, as far as B movie crap goes).

I have the collections with Gypsy and Servo, Servo's is autographed.

i've only watched the first of the three segments from their run back on april fool's day, but it was fantastic, so i'm looking forward to finishing those and checking out the new stuff.
I really wish I'd seen this earlier. That sounds fantastic.

they put the last set up for download not long after they aired (which means they also immediately hit the bay and other places) so you'll be able to see them. if you can get your hands on the first batch, do it!

just saw Rifftrax do The Room live last night. it had some jokes that were better than the studio version, a few that were...horrible/offensive, and overall it was fun (except the guy sitting by himself behind us who kept trying to do his own riffs and i kept glaring at him because THE MOVIE IS ALREADY BEING RIFFED, A-HOLE!)

tonight's live Rifftrax, Miami Connection, has been my favorite that they've done. it helps that the movie itself is something i'd watch even without riffing, but also that the riffing was spot on throughout the film. no cringe-worthy or faceplam-inducing jokes, just a lot of great laughs. and the short that preceded it, Measuring Man, was absolute gold.

i can't believe it's already past $1,000,000. and it was earlier, before it hit the 24-hour mark. really hoping we can get it up to the point where they'll do a full 12 episodes. considering doing the $200 level because i love me some physical media and box sets.

almost up to enough money to make NINE new episodes (including the money from the add-on rewards site)! they just keep adding more and more bonus rewards that make the money we pledged even more worth it!

if you haven't pledged yet, DO IT!

They're also doing double-features all this week, starting at 7 pm est. Last night was "Pod People" and "Werewolf".

last night's double feature was The Wild World Of Batwoman (END!!! END!!!) and Catalina Caper.

the fan-mail in-between was great. joel is really running this kickstarter right, and the rewards just keep piling up. it's unbelievable how much stuff we're going to end up with in the end.

I finally contributed to the Kickstarter. Had to happen. You can't dangle MST in front of me (despite me being Team Mike) featuring Jonah Ray, Felicia Day, and Patton Oswalt with Dan Harmon, Justin Roiland and Rob Schrab doing some of the writing.

First off: ALL Rifftrax orders have free shipping today only (sorry, just saw that email now).

Second, and more relevant: Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland announced as guest writers! Holy crap! Community and Rick & Morty are two of my favorite comedy series, so this is extremely exciting news for me.

we had the opening of the super bowel on last night because my wife's cousin billy sang in the performance of america the beautiful (though we couldn't see him, unfortunately), but before that, we LOST IT when Larry Csonka showed up, which is how you know we're giant MST3K nerds hahaha.

    well, we officially did it.

my wife and i have now watched EVERY SINGLE EPISODE, more or less in order (we started with Mitchell, watched through the end of the show with Mike, and then looped back around to season 1 with Joel). tonight we closed the loop with Mitchell. it was a bittersweet occasion, but i'm mostly very happy.

I have my favorites and a couple of the box sets. Did we do a What's Your Favorite Episode recently?

Mine is The Incredible Melting Man. "Hotchka" is a regularly used vocabulary word amongst me and my friends.
