Fair enough. More or less, the ones not instigated by Paul Shaffer are the ones that come out smelling like roses. I think he's still the musical director but in recent years The Roots have been the house band, thankfully.

Not anymore, they aren't. Something like 25% NIN (first place) to 8% Green Day.

Although I gotta say...with the Smiths and Kraftwerk in there, it's a little hard for me to actually vote NIN this time around.

Kraftwerk is in 3rd place now, which is kind of surprising. I'm always surprised how War winds up on these ballots, and it's no wonder they aren't rating so well in this list. They would have had better luck calling them "the 'Low Rider' guys".
