I don't hate The Bunny The Bear. In fact I enjoyed earlier tunes of theirs before they got signed. Now? Not so much!

As for the masks, the Bunny growls and the Bear is melodic. The mask choices are worn/swapped for irony due to bears being associated with growling and rabbits being more light and less abrasive ala melody.

It seems to be fairly well known here in the UK, but I saw Anthony Fantano review their new record so assumed it had now also made it to the US. I really don't get it. Invada Records has also been selling their stuff. I kind like Invada but they're increasingly hit and miss.

If so, I apologize, but...holy fuck, that shit is awful. It sounds like some sterile knock-off version of the worst 80s synth pop, with some goof over-emoting WAY too much on vocals, to the point where it's comical. All the songs sound the same, too...right down to the bonehead vocalist trying SO HARD to sound deep, and failing miserably.
