    Vice Principals

So as a big fan of Eastbound and Down, me reading this is great news!

Danny McBride is Returning to HBO With New Comedy ‘Vice Principals’

Although HBO has yet to announce a premiere date, the official press release says that the series will run a total of 18 episodes. If they follow the ‘Eastbound and Down’ format (and we imagine they will), that will mean three seasons of six episodes each. In addition to Hill and McBride, their frequent collaborator David Gordon Green is on board in an executive producer role.

So, the premiere was last night. Anyone watch it or am I alone?

I loved it. Can't wait to see where it goes. I love both headlining actors.

I thought it was hilarious. Only Walton Goggins can get away wearing pink pants and a bow tie and be funny. I loved seeing Shea Whigham as McBride's ex-wife's husband who is always trying to be supportive only for McBride to fire back.

I thought it was ok. I'll keep watching it for a while, mainly because of the cast, but if it doesn't pick up at all I probably will stop watching halfway through the season.

I never had anything from Bojangles believe it or not as I'm from South but the nearest Bojangles I know is about 20-30 minutes from where I live. Plus, seeing that house get burned down. Holy shit. I'm loving Walton Goggins every second he's in this show. Give him the Emmy.

Even more than House of Cards, this show feels like the perfect allegory to our current political climate.

I just watched the second episode. I'm really digging the show.

It's soooooooo quotable. I love shows like that.

    "Fuck this mug!"

I also found it super hilarious they met in the woods behind the school to scheme. I laughed probably way too much at that.

I thought it was pretty good although there wasn't enough Walton Goggins who I feel is what makes the show so fun to watch.

hilarious so far/ they really took it up a notch with the home break-in in episode 2. Episode 3 was vintage Jody Hill/Danny McBride. He was being such a dick on the trip hahaha.

This show is the most hilarious thing on television right now. I rarely laugh hysterically at comedy anymore because I suppose I've grown into an old cynical bastard, but this shit is pure comedy gold.

Without spoilers, most of the episode centers on Russell.

Last week's episode was the best because of Russell as well as Gamby finally helping him. This week was really good as I just like the development between Gamby and Snodgrass. What Dr. Brown saw in Russell, uh-oh...

I know. I didn't see that coming. I'm thinking whoever did that could be Russell, Ray, a guy hired by Brown, the guy at the horse track, or the one-night stand.

Me and my friend think Spoiler: that it is Bill since he might feel like he's gonna get fired by Gamby and the fact that Amanda is with him now. Or we think it could be the kid that Gamby told off that he'd be dead meat in a school shooting.

The show is so random it could be ANYONE.

I know it's not likely as I heard that it's just a one-season series but I hope they do another season where Gamby survives and learns that Russell has taken over and things go to shit.

They filmed 18 episodes. This finale was the ninth. We have nine to go next year (I guess???). That's it. The show wraps itself up sadly. HOWEVER, Eastbound & Down wasn't supposed to have 4 seasons but McBride agreed for another season due to popular demand. Maybe we'll get more.

Looks hilarious. Him living awkward with Gail and Ray looks funny as fuck, not to mention the stair lift.
