That's 3 James Bond henchmen that have died this year. The Russian general from GoldenEye, Jaws, and now this guy. Sad year for Bond fans.

She's one of my favorites as she was one of those ladies that made me laugh. In fact, that line-up with Jon Lovitz, Phil Hartman, Dana Carvey, Nora Dunn, Victoria Jackson, and Dennis Miller with Kevin Nealon is probably the best line-up of the series w/ the exception of the original cast with Bill Murray.

Mark Bell (of the electronic music act LFO) has died of "complications following an operation." He was a legend.

Ikey Owens passed away. Worked with Mars Volta, his solo stuff and Jack White. Saw him with Jack in August and he was great. He will be missed

Actress Elizabeth Pena Dies at Age 55 I don't believe this. She is awesome. Lone Star, Jacob's Ladder, Rush Hour, so many films and she was one of the best. Aw man.

Easily one of the greatest bass players ever. Brought a heaviness to bass guitars as he will be missed. Thanks Jack.

He was in another trio with Ginger Baker, BBM with Gary Moore (who himself died about 4 years ago).

It's rumored to be a drug overdose, which blows.

I'm not surprised, wasn't that why they disbanded?

I think so, and a local music promoter here in STL just posted this too which kind of supports that idea too:

Really shitty to hear about Wayne.

Static-X always had an enjoyably catchy dirty thing about it.

    What a shame

Yeah, I really enjoy "Car Talk" (I know they're all reruns now, but I listen so sporadically that it's all new to me). Really sad to hear about his passing.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is still one of my all-time-favorite films; I took a film-review class in college and analyzed this film and did an accompanying review / essay, the film is SO awesome compared to the play, Burton and Taylor at their very best.
